In yoga philosophy, chakras (energy centers) are areas in our body that control physical and mental functions. They are connected to and influence our nervous and hormonal systems. The seven main chakras are located along the spine and can be specifically addressed through asanas (physical exercises) in yoga. On these days together, we use the powerful energy of the Mühlviertel hills to open our chakras with yoga and mindfulness, to get the energy flowing again and thus create a feeling of harmony and balance in body, mind and soul.

The Vierkanthof in a secluded location with a view over the hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel offers the ideal atmosphere for a sustainable break. Try out new things, clear your head and feel the impetus for change. You will find retreat and peace at the natural swimming pond, in the woods and in the vastness of the gently rolling landscape. Enjoy moments of relaxation in the pine-scented sauna and in the evening in a cozy atmosphere around the fire bowl.

Catering

Modern, vegetarian-vegan cuisine awaits you at the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center. Start the day with a feel-good breakfast with breads, jams, cheese, freshly prepared porridge, fruit, various types of milk, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee and different teas. At 2 pm we serve you a light lunch with a warming soup and spreads with bread or pastries.

Each yoga session is specifically geared towards a chakra and so the flow is individually designed and supplemented with matching mudras (hand postures), breathing exercises and visualizations.

We start the day with a dynamic, challenging yet meditative vinyasa yoga session. In the evening, the practice is calmer, after gentle flowing movements we enjoy the calm and depth of relaxed positions from Yin Yoga and connect with the attention we devote to a chakra.

Two yoga walks are a special highlight of this week. We leave the yoga room for this, as the yoga walk involves practising mindfulness and meditation exercises in the great outdoors, which helps many people to find themselves more easily and deeply. The combination of meditative mindfulness exercises, conscious breathing and soothing asanas is aimed at anyone who wants more peace and quiet and enjoys being out in nature.
The program is rounded off with singing bowl meditations, which lead to deep and conscious relaxation at the end of each yoga class.

By train and bus
Travel by train to Linz main station, from here there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden, pick-up from the Altenfelden Ort bus stop is included at fixed times:

Transfer to the bus: 09.50 h and 10.50 h.

If you cancel up to 20 days before arrival, you will receive a 70% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 10 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 4 days before arrival, you will receive a 30% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 3 days before arrival, you will receive a 15% refund of the booking price.
After this, if you cancel up to the day of arrival, you will receive a 5% refund of the booking price.
