It was a great experience overall. A great program with a good mix of yoga (in a beautiful old church with a wonderful yoga teacher!), hiking, morning walk including dew stepping and gymnastic exercises as well as knowledge transfer. It's definitely not boring - but it's all on a voluntary basis, so you can just keep to yourself on days when you don't have so much energy. The location in the old monastery with adjoining forest and small village is also beautiful and offers a good mix of relaxing tranquillity and a beautiful landscape for hiking. There are also various sauna facilities in the neighboring village and in a village about 20 minutes away. The "food" (broth and juices) was also very tasty and apparently of high quality. The fasting guide was very committed and was always available to answer any questions. He had good advice for every ailment and was able to explain what was happening in the body. The only drawback was sometimes the organization/communication during the retreat: sometimes the program was changed very spontaneously, which not everyone always noticed because the communication didn't work 100%. And if you were there for longer than 3 days, some of the lectures were repeated because new people kept coming along and the basics had to be repeated for them. However, thanks to the supplementary brochures, you still got enough knowledge if you read something on your own. All in all, a great experience and highly recommended!
