SILENCE IS GOLDEN Stilleretrat in the Weserbergland - meditation, silence and reorientation

I booked the retreat because the topic really appealed to me and also because I wanted to get a taste of silence without having to commit to many days. First of all, the positives: The place where the retreat took place was well suited for it and provided a nice setting and supported the processes well (peace, direct nature, beautiful views). The course leader was nice and offered a very varied program (various meditations, rituals, etc.). The integration of the retreat into the Celtic spring festival was also a good fit and I thought it was nice. Unfortunately, there were also some points that I found very unfortunate. In my opinion, the main problem here was that the majority of the group already knew each other (and also the leader). This was not so easy for those who were not part of the known group. This wasn't a problem during the silent period, but on the days around it I thought it was a real shame that the course leader didn't do her job of forming the group. Although there was a short round of introductions, there were no other group-building elements that would have broken up the existing group structure. So it was difficult for me to get into the group and see myself as part of it. Then there were the rituals to start and end the retreat: Basically, I thought it was a really nice idea and it gave the whole thing a nice framework. However, the silence was simply dissolved after one and a half days. Without a special moment. In hindsight, I thought that was a shame. Especially as the change from silence to "talking normally again" happened far too quickly for me. In hindsight, it was a wonderful experience to have been there, but I'm not sure whether I would go again.

I was able to escape the "noisy" everyday life and enjoy a quiet time-out in a beautiful setting. The retreat was well prepared and implemented with a lot of heart and knowledge. An oasis of well-being was created. We were very well prepared for the silent day and the silent and moving meditations. The sound bath was a very special experience. I am very grateful that I was able to take part in this special retreat. It was very well guided and inspired by Linda F. Kniep. Thank you very much for this wonderful experience. The Einbecker Sonnenberg is the perfect location for this retreat. The staff were very friendly. Special praise to the kitchen for the healthy and tasty food. We lacked for nothing. The "cash desk of trust" is a great idea as is the 24/7 accessibility to drinks and snacks. The bungalow is suitably equipped and the view from the large windows or the terrace is priceless. The long lunch break on Saturday could be used for a walk in the wonderful natural surroundings. Sauna-goers also got their money's worth. The program was harmoniously coordinated with the Klang der Stille retreat. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Einbecker Sonnenberg and the Sound of Silence Retreat 100%. Thank you very much for the great impulses and ideas on how we can individually integrate what we have learned into our everyday lives.
