Summary

DO YOU KNOW THIS?

You work and work and work - but time and space just for yourself is somehow always in short supply. You feel overloaded and urgently need a little break: you don't have to worry about anything for once - except yourself.

You are restless inside and somehow dissatisfied. You feel far away from what really defines you. Perhaps you even have an important decision to make and you want to take your time to sort yourself out and regroup.

You feel overwhelmed by the daily stimuli. Real peace - both inwardly and outwardly - is simply not enough in everyday life. You long to finally put on the brakes - and immerse yourself deeply in the silence of meditation.

Everything is just too much for you, too fast and too loud. And you feel like you're just on autopilot...?

BELIEVE ME, I KNOW WHAT THAT FEELS LIKE.

There was a phase in my life when I had much less to do with silence and tranquillity - especially outside - than I do today: the time I studied music and the years that followed when I taught piano full-time in Hanover.

And now: With a small child, self-employment, an old house, a large garden and a few other things - I have both feet in the full, loud, fast-paced life every day. With all the to-do's and decisions, all the challenges and, of course, excessive demands.

It's often a real feat to find space for myself on a regular basis. To put the brakes on both internally and externally. I always find my peace and strength in the silence of meditation. And I can tell you this:

JUST TAKING SOME TIME FOR YOURSELF EVERY NOW AND THEN IN EVERYDAY LIFE - SOMETIMES THAT'S JUST NOT ENOUGH.

Because in your usual environment, you are constantly surrounded by distractions and tasks:
- Roommates, family members, neighbors: the needs of others, interactions and conversations, social offerings and decisions
- Traffic noises and the rhythm of your surroundings
- Your desk and its challenges and responsibilities
- Your cell phone, digital media and all kinds of electronics

I'm sure you know this very well...

And then sometimes you just need a few days to get away from it all! To really clear your head. To come to yourself in peace. To take a deep breath.

TIME FOR SOMETHING SILENT AND INNER ALIGNMENT - completely with you and just for you.

At my silence retreat Silence is golden, you take time for yourself to immerse yourself intensively in meditation in a communal circle. In the depths of meditation, you will experience real peace. And open yourself to silence as a special source of experience and inspiration.

AND THIS IS WHAT YOU GET OUT OF IT

At the retreat, you will be far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life:
- take a deep breath and noticeably calm down,
- center yourself in meditative concentration and
- come (more) back to yourself,
- take a clear look at yourself and your life,
- focus on yourself in a time of upheaval or transition
- or perhaps even completely realign yourself internally,
- experience relaxed serenity and gain fresh energy,
- open up new meanings and perspectives for yourself and
- return to your everyday life with a transformed inner attitude.

Depending on what you need - it's all about you!

THESE ARE THE CONTENTS OF YOUR SEMINAR:

- Guided meditations on various topics - always with an extended period of silence
- Free meditation in silence, i.e. without a common theme or spoken instructions
- Walking meditation in silence and moving meditation with music
- Meditative experience of sound and silence with gong and singing bowls, played live of course
- Silence day and media break: experience silence for yourself and in a group
- Time for yourself, indoors and outdoors
- Mindful awareness of body, mind and soul
- If you like: explore your personal topics and questions, find answers
- As a framework: Rituals of mindfulness and transformation to integrate what you have experienced
- On the first day: introduction and preparation / On the last day: exchange and debriefing

The retreat is clearly practice-oriented. Every group is different and needs something different, so the content may vary slightly.

A TIME OUT FOR YOU

Get away from it all for once. Don't worry about anything or anyone for a few days - except yourself. Allow yourself to simply do nothing for once. Not having to achieve anything. Spend this time completely open-ended, just for yourself. Immerse yourself quietly in meditative contemplation - and allow yourself to enter into peace and silence with an open mind and an open heart.

You are cared for in a soothing and protected place - and can slow down. Take a little time out from everything - and return home invigorated and inspired.

DEEP MEDITATION

By alternating between sitting and gentle movement, body and mind remain relaxed. You immerse yourself in the silence of meditation and experience deep calm.

You enter a meditative flow that softens the strict time frames of everyday life. Completely new and enriching spaces of experience and perception open up to you. And so you can use the meditation entirely for yourself and with exactly the intensity that you need.

Be it an inner question about a specific topic. Or simply the desire to immerse yourself deeply in the calm of meditation - and to welcome whatever may arise.

NEW PERSPECTIVES

From Friday evening to Sunday morning, we remain silent. Reduce all external and internal stimuli for a set period of time. Take a consistent media break.

Do everything differently than usual: actively pause. Consciously open the space of silence and listen to what is there - but otherwise receives little attention.

You turn your attention inwards. Slow down. Quieter. You sort yourself out and explore important issues. Gain clarity and find answers.

You center yourself in a challenging time - and possibly realign yourself internally.

EXPERIENCE SILENCE - BE PEACEFULLY WITH YOURSELF

Through a day of silence, you are invited to let everything become quiet for once. The outer silence gives you a framework for achieving inner silence.

Silence opens up new spaces. For mindful inner experience. For self-awareness and reflection. Take the time and peace to listen to what you resonate with. Listen to what is perhaps not so present in everyday life.

Meet yourself in silence and draw from it exactly what you need right now. In this way, you can (re)find, rediscover and strengthen your inner center in intentional silence.

MINDFULLY SHAPING PHASES OF UPHEAVAL

Perhaps you would like to go into contemplation this weekend in order to gain a new perspective from inner reflection. To center yourself and powerfully realign yourself. For everything that may come.

We all experience upheavals in our lives. With meditation and mindfulness, you can consciously shape these transitional and decision-making phases.

You can accompany your inner experience with small, often nature-related rituals (e.g. incense, elements, annual cycle). The rituals are special - and yet always suitable for everyday life. They give your inner transformation a meaningful outer form.

GONG MEDITATION & MEDITATION IN MOVEMENT

A sound bath is a special experience. It creates a space in which sound and silence intertwine and you experience the effect of both elements. The powerful vibrations of the gong can be felt in every cell of your body. They touch you on an intuitive level and have an intense effect.

Meditating in mindful movement instead of sitting is an equally special experience that you will have this weekend: sometimes calmly and slowly, sometimes more dynamically with music. Sound and movement in meditation can release blockages and promote energy flows - and are an experience that goes beyond the usual meditations.

TRACING IMPORTANT TOPICS

You may come to this weekend with a specific question:
- What is used up, no longer serves you, robs you of strength and may leave your life?
- What can come to the fore? What do you want to promote and increase? What is your current focus? What do you want to focus on?
- What resources do you draw your strength and inspiration from? Who or what supports you in this? What gives you meaning and significance in your life?

Allow yourself to listen to your very own inner silence and listen to what it has to tell you.

RITUALS OF MINDFULNESS & TRANSFORMATION

Thematic impulses for the individual meditations and selected rituals provide a special framework for you, your meditative contemplation and any concerns you may have.

Recurring mindfulness exercises and transformative, practical everyday rituals serve as a meaningful anchor during this weekend. They structure the time together and provide a special external framework for your inner perception and experience.

VARIED FORMS OF MEDITATION

Meditation is as diverse as you and I are. And that's why we always meditate differently this weekend. What is special here is the consistent alternation of sitting meditation and meditation in gentle movement. This keeps body and mind relaxed and the process effortless.

I lead the themed meditations at the beginning. This is always followed by an extended period of silence. There are also free meditations in silence, where you meditate without a common theme or spoken instructions.

BUT THE BEST THING IS - EVERYTHING CAN, NOTHING HAS TO!

Tired of self-optimization? Me too! That's why I'll accompany you through our time together without any pressure that something has to come out of it or be "improved" in any way. The rule is:
- No thoughts of performance, please! Just be there - you don't need a result.
- You can do it without enlightenment! You don't have to fathom, recognize or decide anything.
- Just relax! We don't force anything - you don't need a perseverance mode.
- No expectations! You can just be there as you are right now. Period.

WITHOUT DOGMA OR PERSEVERANCE - BUT WITH LIGHTNESS AND JOY

Perhaps one or two of the meditation experiences this weekend will challenge you.
But you can still feel good about it! Nothing is endured with me. And so you are always invited:
- To change your sitting position during meditation - or to move a little.
- Adapt the theme of your meditation - or go out for a walk.
- To open your eyes during meditation - or to simply stare holes in the air for a moment,
instead of meditating.

All consciously and mindfully, of course - to stay focused and not disturb anyone.

I will guide you calmly through our retreat days together. Always attentive, attentive and warm.
To accompany and support you on your inner journey.

ENGAGE IN SILENCE - IMMERSE YOURSELF - EXPLORE

I will take you on an intense inner experience. And show you that mediation is so much more than simply sitting motionless. Or enduring something where there is inner turmoil. Restlessness is allowed to be there. As well as uncertainty or questions. But also: curiosity - openness - transformation.

I invite you to immerse yourself deeply in contemplative silence during this meditation. To connect with yourself and to listen attentively to what otherwise tends to get lost. You will experience a wide-awake awareness of the moment. A new connection with yourself. Awareness. There is often so little time for this in the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

You are invited to allow deep contact to happen in the silence of meditation. It brings you closer to your core. It lets you breathe - perceive - feel - arrive. And so you discover what lies within you. What wants to be seen and lived.

PREREQUISITES FOR PARTICIPATION

You should definitely have some meditation experience to take part in this retreat. It doesn't have to be a lot - but enough to be able to cope with the intensive day of silence.

We will meditate in a sitting position for a maximum of 30 minutes at a time - always alternating with moving forms of meditation.
The moving meditations last between 10 and 20 minutes each.

If a meditation is too challenging for you or if you don't feel well, you can take care of yourself at any time: you can stand up - open your eyes - look in front of you instead of meditating - go outside - go for a walk...

However, there are also conditions under which I clearly advise you not to take part in the retreat. You should be mentally healthy and emotionally stable to take part in the retreat.

SEMINAR LEADERSHIP / TEACHING STYLE

Hey, I'm Linda! Meditation mentor, music enthusiast and former piano teacher, nature lover, mom and creative maker.

I teach calmly, clearly and warmly. With depth and individual aspects of natural spirituality (e.g. four elements, incense, annual circle). But always without religious embedding, coaching phrases, scheme F or esoteric chichi - so always suitable for everyday life and completely undogmatic.

Experienced and attentive, I will accompany you through this weekend and support you:
- experience deep meditation effortlessly,
- to allow yourself mindful self-awareness,
- open yourself to silence and stillness as something enriching.

With me by your side, you will experience meditation as...
- an inner place of clarity and calm to collect and sort yourself,
- an important level of insight to make strong and conscious decisions,
- a way to be in touch with your values and intuition.

On this weekend, I will create a protected and inspiring space for you for exactly the concerns and experiences that are right and important for you right now. A space in which you can enter deeply into meditation and mindful contemplation. A space in which you can devote yourself entirely to connecting with yourself - and yet still be in community.

I booked the retreat because the topic really appealed to me and also because I wanted to get a taste of silence without having to commit to many days. First of all, the positives: The place where the retreat took place was well suited for it and provided a nice setting and supported the processes well (peace, direct nature, beautiful views). The course leader was nice and offered a very varied program (various meditations, rituals, etc.). The integration of the retreat into the Celtic spring festival was also a good fit and I thought it was nice. Unfortunately, there were also some points that I found very unfortunate. In my opinion, the main problem here was that the majority of the group already knew each other (and also the leader). This was not so easy for those who were not part of the known group. This wasn't a problem during the silent period, but on the days around it I thought it was a real shame that the course leader didn't do her job of forming the group. Although there was a short round of introductions, there were no other group-building elements that would have broken up the existing group structure. So it was difficult for me to get into the group and see myself as part of it. Then there were the rituals to start and end the retreat: Basically, I thought it was a really nice idea and it gave the whole thing a nice framework. However, the silence was simply dissolved after one and a half days. Without a special moment. In hindsight, I thought that was a shame. Especially as the change from silence to "talking normally again" happened far too quickly for me. In hindsight, it was a wonderful experience to have been there, but I'm not sure whether I would go again.
