For years I have been a reliable companion when it comes to guided desert hikes in the Moroccan Sahara. The carefully planned desert retreats to Morocco take you deep into the fascinating world of the desert, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and the constraints of civilization. Each trip offers the opportunity to experience the Moroccan desert intensively and authentically.
In contrast to other types of travel, hiking on foot or on dromedaries allows you to discover the desert in all its diversity - from endless sand dunes and impressive rock formations to the incomparable silence, which is only interrupted by gentle desert winds. In Marrakech, we spend the night in a beautiful oriental hotel with double rooms. We also have breakfast there and eat lunch and dinner together in the restaurants.
During the actual desert hike, the Berbers will look after us and feed us like royalty. If you want, you can spend the night in tents, but anyone can do that. It is much nicer to spend the night in the dunes a little away from the main camp under the wonderful starry night sky.

Catering

We are constantly supplied with nuts, cookies, dates, oranges and fruit during our hike. And at lunchtime and then in the evening, the Berbers conjure up something incredible in their tajine. You can tell from your digestion how healthy and alkaline this food is. And of course there is plenty of water.
