Catering

The kitchen offers healthy wholefoods. Breakfast consists of a buffet that is very varied and includes everything from fresh fruit to different types of bread.
At lunchtime, there is a choice between a vegan and a non-vegetarian dish. A varied buffet is offered for dinner.
Food intolerances can be catered for, but must be stated in advance (when booking).

The program is strongly dependent on the current weather conditions.

In March, Norderney likes to show its "North Sea moods" - but that's exactly what makes the month so special:
Wind is almost guaranteed. Sometimes fresh, sometimes stormy, but always present.
Temperatures: usually between 3 and 9 °C - cool, but rarely really icy.
Changes in light: anything can happen within a day, from brilliantly clear to foggy and mystical.
Alternating sun & clouds: You often get that typical "April weather feeling", only a month earlier.
Rain showers: possible, but usually brief - often followed by dramatically beautiful cloud formations.

Best off-season atmosphere: the island is quieter, the sea seems bigger and the air is wonderfully fresh and salty.

Arrival

1. by car & ferry

Getting to Norddeich: You first travel by car or train to Norddeich Mole on the mainland (Lower Saxony).

Parking: There are parking garages or long-term parking spaces at the ferry port.

Ferry: From Norddeich, the ferry will take you to Norderney. The crossing takes about 50 minutes.

Advantage: You can easily transport luggage, but have to leave your car on the mainland as Norderney is car-free.

2. by train

Train to Norddeich Mole: There are direct connections from many German cities (e.g. Hanover, Bremen, Hamburg).

Continue by ferry: The ferry to Norderney departs from Norddeich Mole.

Advantage: Relaxed, environmentally friendly and stress-free, no parking problems.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel up to 60 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 19 days before arrival, you will receive a 10% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.

The early bird discount is granted until January 15. The fee is then: 280,- Euro
