Summary

"The fool in us"
is a great challenge and at the same time a longing. A longing for the lightness of being and the depth of love at the same time, for contemplation and distraction, for sense and nonsense, for laughter and tears. It is well known that laughter is healthy and the healthiest thing is to laugh at ourselves. This is probably the outstanding quality of the jester, who combines all these aspects. But what does this have to do with the fact that we are dedicating this course in February of all months to the "fool in us"?
February has always been the month of purification and was named after the Roman purification festival Februa or Februarius. It also bore the epithet of the Roman goddess Juno, who stands for care, relationship and renewal. We use the stillness and silence to renew ourselves. A renewal of our view of ourselves and our lives.
During the days of silence, we get used to fasting our thoughts and all the good New Year's resolutions that we still vividly remember perhaps only now fall on fertile ground and nothing stands in the way of their implementation.

CORONA information
We want to offer you and ourselves the security of taking part in our courses at a respectful distance and in accordance with the hygiene guidelines. We have also equipped ourselves with one of the most modern IONEN air exchangers. This will clean the air in the group room permanently and almost silently with the help of a special virus filter. We will make sure that breaks take place outside and that additional shock ventilation is carried out.

Accommodation

You will be accommodated in a simple single room in the youth guest house in Mondsee.
The cost for this is approx. 200 euros for the entire period and is within walking distance of the ZEN room.
We will also be happy to reserve more sophisticated accommodation for you if you wish. Double rooms can only be occupied by couples or people who know each other personally.

Catering

Food is an integral part of mindfulness and is eaten in the ZEN room.
Breakfast consists of a fresh grain porridge.
Lunch is vegetarian to vegan throughout and a full Ayurvedic soup is served for dinner.
We are happy to take individual dietary requirements into consideration. Please let us know before the start of the course.

The individual exercise phases (sitting, lying down and mindful YOGA exercises) rarely last longer than 45 minutes.
The morning active meditations last 60 minutes, alternating between movement, breathing and stillness.

Seminar leader:
We are Marion and Bernhard Hötzel and we each have 45 years of meditation experience, 20 of which we have been working as meditation teachers.
In our own institute, as well as guest teachers at other institutes and as lecturers for NEURO-Meditation at the TH-Campus Vienna. We have received traditional training in Asia, the USA and Europe and are very familiar with the humanistic psychology of our modern times.

Arrival

You can travel to Salzburg by car, train or plane.
By car, travel via Munich or Passau, Salzburg, Vienna or Linz and take the Mondsee exit.

By train you arrive at Salzburg main station and take the Postbus 140 to Mondsee bus station. From here you can also walk to the accommodation.
From the airport, take the city bus 2 to the main train station.
