Summary

As autumn slowly gives way to winter and the island grows quieter, a special space opens up for peace, clarity, and renewed energy. This 6-day yoga retreat, running from late November to early December, invites you to take a deep breath, let go, and realign yourself on Norderney.

At the beautiful Haus Waldeck, located right by the sea, the sound of the waves, the crisp North Sea air, and the vastness of the horizon will accompany you through each day. A place that is perfect for leaving everyday life behind and truly arriving in the present moment.
The yoga practice is a harmonious blend of dynamic, powerful flows and deeply regenerating, restorative sessions. Moving sequences bring you warmth, stability, and vitality, while gentle exercises and mindful pauses relax your nervous system and guide you into stillness. The practice follows the rhythm of the season—nourishing, balancing, and mindful.

Between yoga sessions, there’s time for walks along the endless beach, for retreat, reading, conversation, or simply just being. At this time of year, the island reveals its rugged, honest, and yet incredibly soothing side.

Sample Daily Schedule for the Yoga Retreat
Arrival & Start of the Retreat
The yoga retreat begins on Sunday, November 29, 2026, with a group dinner. In a relaxed atmosphere, we’ll get to know each other during an introductory round, set the tone for the week ahead, and create a space for sharing and connection. Following that

Departure & Conclusion
The retreat ends on Friday, December 4, 2026, after a group lunch. This leaves plenty of time for a final yoga practice, a peaceful conclusion, and a warm farewell.

Here’s what a typical retreat day might look like
A gentle start to the day
The morning begins in the fresh sea air with a yoga practice on the beach—weather permitting. The sound of the waves and the vastness of the horizon accompany us as we mindfully awaken the body and start the day with calm energy.

Afterward, we enjoy a hearty breakfast that offers time to settle in, connect, and savor the moment.

Morning – Energy & Movement
Refreshed, we gather for a dynamic yoga session, where we build new energy and strengthen our bodies through flowing movements, breathwork, and mindful alignment.

Afterward, there is time for group activities in nature—such as a walk on the beach, a bike ride along the coast, or free time to explore the surroundings on your own, linger by the sea, or simply relax.

Afternoon – Relaxation & Regeneration
In the late afternoon, we come together again for a restorative yoga session in the yoga room. With supportive poses, stillness, and mindful breathing, the body is able to fully let go and regenerate.

Evening – Enjoyment & Inner Peace
After the practice, we enjoy dinner together—a moment for conversation, shared laughter, and mindful enjoyment.

We then conclude the day with a gentle practice. Depending on the evening, you can look forward to a meditation, a Yoga Nidra deep relaxation session, or a sound journey, where harmonious sounds guide the body and mind into deep stillness.

Over the course of the week, this creates a harmonious rhythm of movement, nature, relaxation, and community—a space where you can recharge your energy, find peace, and reconnect fully with yourself. ✨Here’s what a day might look like:
