I am deeply convinced that there is the right dress for every woman in every moment. This dress supports her in her being and gives her the feeling that she can confront any situation. This dress, in which she simply feels comfortable, which she wants to wear again and again, in which she shines and in which she feels feminine, glamorous, strong, independent, sexy and elegant - is her second skin. This dress is independent of fashion - it is an attitude to life and an expression of who she is. I call this KRAFTKLEIDER.

I have been designing clothes for more than 40 years. After some time as a designer in the textile industry, as a teacher at a fashion school and after founding my own couture label, this year I am offering the one-week SLOW SEWING RETREAT "Create your Dream Dress". It is about experiencing the UNIQUENESS OF EXPRESSION of each individual. Slow sewing is a meditation in which each step is consciously carried out in the present moment, leading to the art of sewing.

I believe we are all creative. It is a heartfelt desire of human nature to express ourselves in matter. Unlocking our potential is a beautiful and conscious process into which a lot of energy and individuality flows. The result is a deep connection with the piece created.

In this retreat, where we find ourselves with like-minded and soulful women, we let go of the rest of the world with its hectic pace and daily to-do list for a few days. We slow down and concentrate with uninterrupted focus and deep immersion on what is close to our hearts. We come into our being. This is very powerful.

With all my know-how and experience, I invite you to accompany you step by step through the creation of your creation in this relaxed environment. Together we will turn your vision into reality and realize your very individual idea of a power dress.

Surrounded by the beauty of the French Provence, the retreat will take place in a charming bastide in a small medieval mountain village, surrounded by nature, in the hinterland of Cannes. This 7-day retreat is your chance to pause, have fun and pamper your mind and soul.

GUEST ROOM "CIEL" - 1 room - 22sqm - for 3 persons

Single room: € 1990,00 per week all-inclusive

This charming room is located in the Bastide on the second floor and faces south with a view of the garden and the Maritime Alps. The room has a large private terrace and a separate entrance. For your comfort, you will find three large and comfortable beds, a bathroom with two sinks, a bathtub/shower WC and WIFI. Access to the pool and garden.

COTTAGE "PROVENCE" - 2 rooms - 45sqm - for 2 people + sofa bed

Single person: € 2380.00 per week all-inclusive

Located next to the Bastide, this fully renovated cottage faces south and offers a magnificent view of the garden as far as the Maritime Alps. The cottage has a private terrace, a private entrance and a parking space and offers easy access to the bastide, the grounds and the pool. For your comfort, you will find two large and comfortable beds, a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with WC and WIFI.

We mainly use regional and seasonal ingredients from the local farmers' market and organic food stores to prepare our dishes. We cook very high-quality, plant-based and wholesome meals - always vegetarian and vegan on request. We use our own organic olive oil from the garden. Tea, coffee and fruit are available throughout the day.

You can start your creative day with mediation or yoga under the olive trees, refresh yourself in the pool during the break and enjoy the wonderful colors of the sunset in the evening.

9:30 - 12:30 We first try out the pattern and cut your dress from a sample fabric. Then we start sewing the pattern dress. (in a simple and easy process)

14:30 - 17:30 Sewing the sample dress, fitting and any alterations to the pattern.
19:00 - 21:00 Dinner

09:30 - 12:30 If the pattern fits, we will now cut the original fabric very carefully. This is a very deliberate process.

You can reach Montauroux either by car, by train to Fréjus/Saint Raphael or by plane to Nice. It is possible to hire a car at the airport. However, if you need a transfer from the airport or train station, we can organize this for an extra charge.
