The art history courses take place three times a week (a total of 9 hours per week) and are divided into a theoretical part and visits to churches and museums in order to be able to experience art history directly on site.
The aim of our Italian art history courses is to improve knowledge, understanding and appreciation of Florentine Renaissance art.
Anyone can attend our Italian art history courses. No specific prior knowledge or enrollment in one of our language courses is required to participate in this program.
The price is for individual lessons. The price for lessons in small groups (max 3-4 participants) is Euro 275 per student.

ACCOMMODATION The school secretariat can organize the most suitable accommodation for you among selected hotels, apartments and families.
The program ranges from Greek to modern art, with a focus on the Renaissance period, which was very strongly represented in Florence and whose artists are still among the most important in the world today. Among others, Giotto, Masaccio, Botticelli, Brunelleschi, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and Raffaello are covered.
In addition to the works, the philosophy and lifestyle of the individual artists are also studied and their working environment, life and personal working methods are analyzed. The social environment in which each of them lived is included in order to better understand their cultural and personal developments.
Entrance fees for the museums and churches to be visited are included in the course price.
