The Arche, with its many quiet spots and places of spiritual energy around the house and in its own forest, is the perfect place to escape the daily grind, recharge your batteries, and reconnect with yourself.
Wonderful tranquility, fresh air, clear views, and plenty of space promote deep relaxation.
The water comes from our own springs; it is very energizing, flavorful, soft, and rich in minerals, as the Saualpe is home to many rare minerals and rocks.
Enjoy the wonderful cuisine with a panoramic view and let yourself be pampered with organic, vegetarian whole-food meals, cooked and served with love. You can enjoy the extensive breakfast buffet until 10:00 a.m.
We have a spacious yoga room and rooms with balconies. A 90 m² wellness area with a sauna, infrared sauna, and steam room is available to us, as well as a campfire pit for the evening.
The cancellation policy listed on my website applies.
Please book your room directly with the Arche through Mr. Ilmar Tessmann.
I will organize a carpool group for the trip.
Arrival: July 4, 2026, check-in from 2:00 PM
Departure: July 10, 2026, after breakfast around 11:30 a.m.
Please don’t forget your hiking boots, hiking poles, sun hat/cap, sunscreen, swimwear, … and a good mood 😉
Please let me know if you’d like me to bring a yoga mat and/or a blanket for the final relaxation session.

At Carinthia’s first organic hotel, organic ingredients are prepared in a vegetarian style. According to Dr. M. O. Bruker’s nutritional philosophy, these foods are “alive”—rich in vitamins, minerals, trace elements, enzymes, and unsaturated fats. One-third of the menu consists of raw foods. The breakfast buffet features plenty of fruits and vegetables. And dinner begins with a large serving of salad. We are also happy to prepare vegan or gluten-free meals.
The menu features what’s in season and grown locally. For example: asparagus and strawberries in the spring. Leafy greens and cherries in the summer. Pumpkin and apples in the fall. Root vegetables and dried fruits in the winter. Exceptions prove the rule. Then things get exotic—with passion fruit and dates at the breakfast buffet or pakoras, Indian vegetable fritters in batter, as a main course. Because we like to be a little crazy. And we were proud to be awarded the Grüne Haube in 1994 for our natural cuisine.
