Summary

When the days are finally longer than the nights again, you are invited to pause and enjoy a weekend full of yoga, nature, and delicious food. "Retreat" means to withdraw—and that is exactly what we will do. Unlike on vacation, we will consciously detach ourselves from everyday life with all its distractions in order to discover what is waiting within us and ready to grow. The retreat is open to everyone; previous experience with Jivamukti is helpful but not required. Your teachers are Julia (@juliaxyoga) and Marlis (marlis_dwsk), both 875h+ certified Jivamukti yoga teachers from Berlin. Marlis completed her mentorship program with Moritz Ulrich at Peace Yoga Berlin, Julia completed hers with Dana Sertel, also at Peace Yoga. Jivamukti is a dynamic style of yoga that combines asana practice, chanting, and philosophy. We start in the morning with meditation and pranayama, followed by a dynamic Jivamukti master class for all levels, with variations to suit everyone. You decide for yourself whether you want to see the world upside down or keep your feet on the ground. After the morning practice, you can enjoy a hearty brunch, tea, coffee, and snacks in the afternoon, and a delicious dinner after the afternoon practice, followed by another satsang. Between yoga sessions, you will have time for the sauna, walks in nature, journaling, or simply to relax and unwind. All program items are optional, of course; you decide what you need and what your body feels like doing. Language of the retreat: German or English, if necessary.
