A breath of change is in the air at this profound, transformative breathwork retreat at the turn of the year. In this breathwork retreat, we use the turn of the year to pause, consciously let go of the old, and create inner space for the new. Because the turn of the year is more than just a calendar date—it carries the special energy of transition. A threshold between what was and what may become.
Conscious Connected Breathwork, as process-oriented breathwork, supports us in a powerful way: it sets in motion what has been held back, opens access to unconscious layers, and enables and accelerates genuine, lasting change. Through the breath, we come into contact with what is truly alive within us—and that is exactly where transformation begins.
Let go. Receive. Transform. Shape your new beginning with the power of your breath. Just as the wind carries a balloon away, our breath invites us to let go of what is no longer needed, because with every exhalation we release. And in the empty space that you open up, something new can gently land. With each inhalation, new life, fresh courage, and clear direction grow. In this conscious rhythm between letting go and receiving, space is created for clarity, lightness, and a deeper connection to what lies ahead. In this way, the breath gently paves the way for inner change and new direction.
What to expect Three times this weekend, we will open the space for the transformative power of breath—and each time we will immerse ourselves in a journey to your innermost self. On the first day, we will start with about 50 minutes to arrive and get to know each other, and on the second and third days, our breath journey will be about 120 minutes long. The two main days are dedicated to the themes of 'honoring the old' and 'inviting the new'. We will take enough time and space to slowly come back to ourselves after the breathing and to prepare for and integrate the experience with various exercises and interventions. In addition to the breathing session, you can also expect a supportive program of gentle Yin+Yoga and meditation. Accompanied by mindfulness, presence, and a supportive group, a space is created in which personal transformation can take place – authentically, deeply, and carried by the spirit of a new beginning. The seminar begins on Thursday at 4 p.m. On Sunday, we will finish the seminar around noon. Community & Karma Yoga (Assistance) An essential part of the retreat is the idea of community. Even in breathing, we support each other – the group becomes, so to speak, a breathing body in which everyone supports each other on their journey. And the Tonhaus itself creates community through its architecture and furnishings: The house is there just for us as a group, with an open kitchen and shared bathrooms. In the spirit of a lively community, participants are asked to help out (approx. 1 hour per day), as is often the case on retreats. Tasks range from chopping vegetables for meal preparation to washing pots and pans, and are clarified and assigned on the first day.
