A breath of change is in the air at this profound, transformative breathwork retreat at the turn of the year
In this breathwork retreat, we use the turn of the year to pause, consciously let go of the old, and create inner space for the new. For the turn of the year is more than just a calendar date—it carries within it the special energy of transition. A threshold between what was and what may become.
Conscious Connected Breathwork, as a process-oriented form of breathwork, supports us in this in a powerful way: it sets in motion what has been held fast, opens access to unconscious layers, and enables and accelerates genuine, lasting change. Through the breath, we come into contact with what is truly alive within us—and that is exactly where transformation begins.
Let go. Receive. Transform. Shape your new beginning with the power of your breath.
Just as the wind carries a balloon away, our breath also invites us to let go of what is no longer needed, for with every exhalation we release. And in the empty space you open up in this way, something new can gently take root. With every inhalation, new life, fresh courage, and clear direction grow. In this conscious rhythm between letting go and receiving, space emerges for clarity, lightness, and a deeper connection to what lies ahead. In this way, the breath gently paves the way for inner transformation and a new direction.
What to Expect
Three times this weekend, we will open the space for the transformative power of the breath—and each time, we will dive into a journey to your innermost self. On the first day, we’ll begin with about 50 minutes to settle in and get to know each other; on the second and third days, our breath journey will last approximately 120 minutes each. The two main days are dedicated to the themes of “Honoring the Old” and “Inviting the New.”
We will take plenty of time and space to slowly settle back in after the breathing session and to both prepare for and integrate the experience through various exercises and interventions. In addition to the breathing sessions, a supportive program of gentle Yin+Yoga and meditation awaits you. Accompanied by mindfulness, presence, and a supportive group, this creates a space where personal transformation can take place—authentically, deeply, and carried by the spirit of a new beginning.
The seminar begins on Thursday at approximately 4 p.m. On Sunday, we conclude the seminar around noon.
Community & Karma Yoga (Helping Out)
An essential part of the retreat is the idea of community. Even in our breathing, we support one another—the group becomes, so to speak, a breathing body in which everyone supports the others on their path. And the Tonhaus itself fosters community simply through its architecture and furnishings: The house is reserved exclusively for us as a group, featuring an open kitchen and shared bathrooms. In the spirit of a vibrant community, participants are asked to help out (about 1 hour per day), as is often customary at retreats. Tasks range from chopping vegetables for meal preparation to washing dishes and will be clarified and assigned on the first day.
