The Buchinger Fast is a proven method of therapeutic fasting in which abstinence is experienced not as deprivation, but as a soothing relief for body and mind. The goal is not traditional food intake, but rather the activation of the body’s self-healing powers, the promotion of inner balance, and a conscious focus on oneself.
During the fasting period, you do not consume any solid food. Instead, the body is gently nourished with clear liquids, valuable minerals, and soothing warmth.
This minimalist yet targeted nourishment supports the body’s natural cleansing and regeneration. At the same time, enough energy remains for movement, mindfulness, and light activities.
Fasting according to Buchinger is far more than mere abstinence—it is a mindful process of letting go that creates space for new clarity, vitality, and lightness.
Day 1 – Arrival and Preparation
Arrival at the hotel from 3:00 p.m., check-in, and room assignment
Welcome and distribution of your fasting materials (folder, journal, brochure)
Introductory lecture: Fasting methods, liver wraps, colon cleansing
Epsom salt treatment to prepare for fasting
Evening: Light broth and tea
Days 2–4 – Fasting and Experience
Morning:
Group morning session with breathing and relaxation exercises
Fasting breakfast with tea and freshly squeezed juices

Participation in guided hikes through the Thuringian Forest (3 hikes on selected days)
