Creative week on Corfu - discover your creativity!

Would you like to take time for yourself and develop your creative side? In this special creative week, you can express yourself, find your own visual language and try out new methods.
The creative environment and the inspiring island invite you to try out new things, explore colors and shapes and discover your own artistic side. Be part of it!

You can expect
- 4 hours of studio and creative time over 5 days
- a well-equipped studio with 6 workstations and a variety of materials for acrylic and mixed-media projects
- daily impulses for your creativity (e.g. a new method, technique, etc.)
- freedom: you have the opportunity to express yourself freely and unrestricted - o with brushes, spatulas, sponges, fingers and more

This week is open to everyone - whether as an introduction for people who are curious to take their first steps in the world of expressive painting and design or for people with experience who are looking for a creative break with impulses in a supportive atmosphere. The only thing that counts here is the creative process and having fun while doing it.

This is not an art course in the academic sense. Rather, I open my studio to people who want to express themselves freely creatively and painterly. The focus is on your own free painting and design. I will guide you through your creative process, share my wealth of experience with you and give you a method or idea as an impulse every day. I will give you space to express yourself creatively and find access to your inspiration and intuition.

Accommodation is not included. You book the accommodation in the area at your own expense and according to your wishes. In Agios Stefanos Avlioton there are many apartment houses and smaller hotels with different offers.

Meals are not included. You book the accommodation of your choice at your own expense and also select the type of catering that suits you. Depending on which accommodation you choose, there is a wide range of options in the village: from self-catering apartments to offers with breakfast and (vegetarian) half board.

- Saturday: individual arrival and departure
- Sunday to Friday: creative times in the studio
- (Wednesday is a day off for relaxation and inspiration)
Daily studio times (for all together, in coordination with you or depending on the weather):
- either 10:00 - 14:00
- or two sessions daily 10:30 - 12:30 and 16:30 - 18:30

We start together on Sunday with the first session. After the welcome and getting to know each other, we start to choose painting surfaces and create the first colors and layers for pictures.
Each day I will offer you a technique, method or idea that you can try out and explore. There will also be plenty of time to continue painting the pictures you have started.
We always take time to look at and reflect on the pictures - if you want to. It is very important that the focus is on you and your creative self-expression.

How do I work?
I am an expressive, intuitive painter and, apart from a few courses on basic techniques, I am self-taught. I work freely and experimentally, with ease, I explore, am curious and enter into a "dialog" with the colors and the resulting picture.

Outside of the studio hours you will have time to enjoy the beach and the surroundings and to relax.

The village of Agios Stefanos Avlioton is located in the northwest of the beautiful, green island of Corfu, about an hour's drive from the island's airport.
Here you will find everything you need: a good selection of tavernas, restaurants, bars and cafés, a long sandy beach, apartment buildings, small hotel complexes and supermarkets where you can stock up on the essentials.
My bright, well-equipped studio is centrally located in the main street. You can reach the beach from here in just under 5 minutes on foot.
In your free time, you can explore the area on foot, for example, you can walk to the small harbor in about 25 minutes or to the back of the headland, from where you have breathtaking views back to Agios Stefanos and into the next bay of Arillas. You can also hire bicycles or e-bikes etc. in the village.
In early summer, the island of Corfu is still particularly fresh and green, many plants are in bloom and the splendor of the flowers often lasts until the end of May and into June, at the end of the summer the sea is then warmed up from the summer and it slowly becomes quieter in the village.

Inside the studio there is an exhibition of paintings, creating a particularly inspiring, artistic atmosphere. We will paint and create at the large table island with up to six workstations with chairs. The WC can be reached via three steps. There are two parking spaces in front of the studio and the studio is equipped with air conditioning for hot days.

Travel is not included.
You book your journey to Corfu and the transfer from the port or airport (destination airport Corfu: CFU) to Agios Stefanos Avlioton (northwest) yourself and at your own expense.

Corfu airport is served by direct flights from many airports during the summer season.
The journey time from the airport to Agios Stefanos Avlioton is approximately one hour.
