Dance yourself free. Write yourself clear. This retreat is your invitation to step out of your everyday routine for a week. Get out of functioning, roles, and inner pressure, and into movement, clarity, and lightness. In the Dance & Rise Retreat, we use dance and journaling as two complementary ways to reconnect with yourself.
Through various forms of dance, you will get out of your head and into your body. You will feel what moves you, release tension, and rediscover your own rhythm. Journaling then gives you space to sort through what you have experienced. Through simple, guided writing prompts, you will find words for what arises within you—clearly, honestly, and without having to "beautify" anything. You don't need any dance experience and you don't have to like writing or be "good" at it. It's not about right or wrong, but about listening to yourself – through movement and words. Why this retreat? Because everyday life is often loud and leaves little room to really arrive at yourself. This retreat is your invitation to step out for a week: out of functioning, roles, and inner pressure. And instead, get back into movement, clarity, and lightness. In the Dance & Rise Retreat, we combine dance and journaling as two simple, effective ways to get back to yourself. Through movement, you get out of your head and into your body. You feel what really moves you, can release tension and rediscover your own rhythm. In journaling, you then take the time to sort through what you have experienced. With clear, guided writing prompts, you find words for what arises within you. Honest, unfiltered and without having to "beautify" anything.
It's not about performance or presentation. It's about connecting with your body, your feelings, and yourself. What's important is that you are in experienced hands here. We have already held nine retreats since the beginning of 2024. We know how to create spaces where people can open up. Without pressure, without excessive demands, and within a safe framework. Our experience ensures that you can let yourself go, because the structure, process, and support are all in place. Without judgment, without guidelines, without pressure. You don't have to be able to do anything. You can simply try things out, perceive, and feel. Movement helps you release tension, quiet your mind, and experience a new lightness.
