1 week before start: PREPARATION
After the full moon, you will receive valuable tips and suggestions from us to help you prepare for your detox retreat in the best possible way. With lots of useful information on the metabolic process during fasting and suggestions for regaining mental calm.
Day 1&2: DETOX DAYS
Arrival between 5 and 6 p.m., move into your room and settle in. Relief meal and getting to know each other.
The light, healthy organic detox meals with wild herbs help your body to adjust optimally to the fasting and purification days. We support this process with lots of drinking and efficient herbal tea blends. Our daily, gentle yoga exercises help you to maintain your muscle strength and support the detoxification process.
During the group sessions, any electronic devices are left in the room. We invite you to completely refrain from using electronic devices during this time so that you can fully engage in your inner journey. With the gates to presence according to Eckhart Tolle, we have powerful, spiritual exercises at hand that _remind_ us of our true essence.
On the evening of the 2nd day we start our 3-day fasting period.
Day 3-5: FASTING, retreat into silence
We fast together for 3 full days, starting on the evening of day 2. On the 5th day we will break the fast together with a root & wild herb soup rich in vital substances. We will collect the wild herbs together in the afternoon of the 5th day.
During these days, we will support you both mentally and with helpful physical exercises. With the daily yoga sessions, we continue to ensure that our muscle strength is maintained and that we feel comfortable in our new body. We will continue to drink a lot during this time. Water, supportive herbal teas and warm broths are available to us. Please let us know if you are not yet comfortable with this. There is the option of "light fasting", in which you also drink nutrient-rich, freshly squeezed vegetable and fruit juices.
We are surrounded by mountains and nature. Easy hikes and forest bathing in the golden autumn of Val Lumnezia, the Valley of Light, help you to calm down mentally too. There is enough space and peace to share your experiences with your fellow travelers. We have a beautiful, light-flooded group room, a large garden and lounges with comfortable armchairs in the historic Benefeci House.
Meditations and exercises to connect with ourselves support our inner path. Perhaps you will encounter your true BEING during this time. Perhaps you will find your inner strength again. Perhaps you will simply be happy that your mind is finally at peace. Everything is allowed in these quiet days, nothing has to be. We don't want to force anything. We invite you to take time for yourself and perhaps even write down in a notebook what is going on inside you during this time.
Day 6: DEPARTURE
After breaking our fast the evening before, we will have a breakfast rich in vital nutrients on our last day. We invite you to rethink your previous eating habits and, if necessary, decide on new ways of eating. You will be supported in this by the power of the moon. With the cycle of the waxing moon now beginning, it will be easier for us to consolidate our new habits.
After a final round together, we say goodbye at around 10 am.
1 week after the retreat: FIX new habits
We will support you on your journey for another week with our tips on healthy eating and inspiring recipes. If you wish, you can stay in contact with the other course participants and exchange ideas via a group chat.
