Feldenkrais: Relaxed and free jaw joints

The 800-year-old square farm in a secluded location with a view over the hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel offers the ideal atmosphere for a sustainable break. Try out new things, clear your head and feel the impetus for change. You will find retreat and peace at the natural swimming pond, in the woods and in the vastness of the gently rolling landscape. Enjoy moments of relaxation in the pine-scented sauna and in the evening in a cozy atmosphere around the fire bowl.

Modern, vegetarian-vegan cuisine awaits you at the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center. Start the day with a feel-good breakfast with breads, jams, cheese, freshly prepared porridge, fruit, various types of milk, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee and different teas. At 2 pm we serve you a light lunch with a warming soup and spreads with bread or pastries.

Where can you feel your jaw joints most clearly when you open your mouth? Can there be a gap between your upper and lower row of teeth?

A free neck creates new access to the jaw joints. Consciously performed movements allow us to recognize ingrained movement patterns and behavioural strategies. We will integrate new options into our movement sequences in a playful way. Reducing strain on the jaw, upper cervical joints, chewing muscles and tongue also relieves strain on the eyes and ears.

The subtle approach of the Feldenkrais Method often changes patterns that have been ingrained and built up over decades. Sensory-motor learning not only changes the function of the brain, but also its structure. The more rounded and flowing each physical movement is, the smoother and more pleasant it becomes. Such new movement experiences promote the connection of nerve cells via the interconnection of synapses and thus increase overall brain performance.

Scope of the program:
One session of approx. 2.5 hours on the day of arrival and departure. On the other days, two sessions of approx. 1.5 to 2 hours each.

From Passau: via Oberkappel or Engelhartszell to Altenfelden

By train and bus
Travel by train to Linz main station, from here there are regular bus connections to Altenfelden, pick-up from the Altenfelden Ort bus stop is included at fixed times:
Pick-up from the bus: 14.08 h and 15.08 h (registration at least 24 hours before arrival)
Transfer to the bus: 09.50 h and 10.50 h.
