Enjoy trying out new things! Just remember the soft gaze of a child, or look at the world from a different perspective.
This ability for lifelong learning, based on the enormous plasticity of the brain, is the focus of the method named after its founder, Dr. Moshé Feldenkrais®.
Awareness of eye movements and relaxed vision strengthen our eyesight in a natural way. The field of vision expands and alertness is promoted. As our vision improves, our range of movement and coordination options expands at the same time, as does our sense of balance. The gentle movement sequences require no prior knowledge.
The plasticity of the brain has become a popular subject of brain research in recent years. Sensory-motor learning not only changes the function of the brain, but also its structure. New neuronal connections (synapses) can be established into old age through the experience of movement and one's own sensory perception (propioperception).
