Weekdays
With the Surf & Yoga Package, you’ll learn to surf (including theory) over 5 consecutive days, Monday through Friday, and strengthen or relax and recharge both physically and mentally with an hour of yoga before and after each surf session.
Weekend
On Saturday and Sunday, you can go on excursions in the surrounding area (e.g., Lisbon, Sintra, or Cascais), relax on the beach or by the pool, or take advantage of the numerous recreational activities available in the region, such as horseback riding, rock climbing, hiking, mountain biking, scuba diving… and so much more (whatever you’re in the mood for—we make it happen!)
Daily Schedule
You’ll start the day with a gentle morning meditation and a yoga class designed to build flexibility, strength, and confidence for surfing. Then it’s time for a delicious organic breakfast to give you a powerful start to the day. After breakfast—which is, of course, available even before yoga—our surf instructors will pick you up for the surf lesson and take you to the region’s most beautiful beaches to learn how to surf together. The choice of surf spots, of course, depends on your skill level and the wind and wave conditions. During a short break between the two surf sessions, you’ll recharge with a delicious snack we’ve prepared for you. After the surf lesson, there’s a yoga session in the early evening to relax and stretch your muscles and ligaments, helping you recover faster from surfing and kick off the evening. After that, everyone does whatever they feel like. Enjoy a meal together at sunset on the terrace, relax by the pool with a refreshing drink or tea, sit by the fireplace, or curl up with a book in your cozy room. We’re sure that with the wide variety of options available, you’ll find whatever makes you happiest.
What to Expect
After a week, you’ll have surfed standing up for the first time, improved your yoga skills, and met great like-minded people. You’ll feel fit and refreshed enough for everyday life back home, take beautiful memories with you, and look forward to the next time. For those who want deeper relaxation and to “really” learn to surf, however, we recommend booking at least two weeks right away. You actually need that much time to truly unwind and have even more fun in the waves.
