Weekdays With the Surf & Yoga Package, you will learn to surf (including theory) on 5 consecutive days, Monday through Friday, and strengthen or relax and recover physically and mentally with an hour of yoga before and after surfing.
Weekends On Saturdays and Sundays, you can go on excursions in the surrounding area (e.g., Lisbon, Sintra, or Cascais), laze around on the beach or by the pool, or take advantage of the numerous leisure activities on offer in the area, such as horseback riding, climbing, hiking, mountain biking, diving... and much more (whatever you feel like doing—we'll make it happen!).
Daily schedule You start the day with a gentle morning meditation and a yoga class aimed at building flexibility, strength, and self-confidence for surfing. Then there is a delicious organic breakfast to give you a powerful start to the day. After breakfast, which is of course available before yoga, our surf instructors will pick you up for your surf lesson and take you to the most beautiful beaches in the region to learn how to surf together. The choice of surf spots depends on your skill level and the wind and wave conditions. During a short break between the two surfing sessions, you can recharge your batteries with a delicious snack that we have prepared for you. After the surfing lesson, there is a yoga session in the early evening to relax and stretch your muscles and ligaments, helping you recover from surfing more quickly and get ready for the evening. After that, everyone does whatever they feel like doing. Enjoy a meal together on the terrace at sunset, relax by the pool with a refreshing drink or tea, in front of the fireplace, or with a book in your cozy room. We are sure that with so many options available, you will find what makes you happiest.
What to expect After a week, you will have surfed standing up for the first time, improved your yoga skills, and met great like-minded people. You will feel fit and relaxed enough for everyday life at home, take home beautiful memories, and look forward to the next time. However, for those who want more deep relaxation and "real" surfing, we recommend booking at least 2 weeks. That's what you need to really switch off and have even more fun in the waves.
