FUNKY FLOW & YUMMY YIN The sea has this wonderful ability to instantly bring peace, space, and lightness. When we practice right by the water, something very natural happens: we arrive at ourselves. This is exactly the connection I want for our week together—to yourself, to your body, and to the people who accompany you on this journey.
Funky Flow & Yummy Yin is aimed at anyone who wants to discover yoga and movement with curiosity and joy. You don't need any special prior knowledge—just a willingness to engage in a soothing mix of activity, relaxation, and small moments of growth.
WHAT TO EXPECT I want to create an authentic, loving, and safe space that facilitates development processes and builds trust within the group. Everyone is welcome to be exactly as they are when they arrive. Before the first session, we will have a relaxed get-together so that everyone's wishes and needs can be taken into account.
Music is also very important to me because it underscores moods and cradles emotions in a hammock of sound. That's why I design an individual playlist for each session. At the end of the week, you will receive this so that you can easily integrate certain tools at home. THE SESSIONS IN DETAIL MORNINGS – FUNKY FLOW
A lively, energizing mix of flow elements, intuitive movement, light qi gong elements, gentle shaking, and little dancing moments to good beats. Every day, we'll also try out a new tool for somatic self-regulation. The Dragon Flow is often a highlight of this class, which we'll learn together step by step. At the end of the week, we'll put all the elements together for a complete Funky Flow session! It's going to be awesome! EVENING – YUMMY YIN A gentle Yin Yoga ritual to wind down: long-held positions, gentle somatic impulses, calm breathing, and plenty of time to really arrive in yourself. The focus is on relaxing, feeling, and integrating – accompanied by the sound of the waves.
WHAT YOU TAKE HOME WITH YOU In addition to beautiful memories and a slower pace of everyday life, you will take home practical self-regulation tools that you can use in your daily life. I like to call these "Inner Ocean Tools." We practice simple techniques such as shaking, tapping, humming, grounding, conscious breathing, and short meditations—small steps that calm your nervous system, release tension, and help you reconnect with yourself more quickly. You will go home with a deeper awareness, helpful exercises for your everyday life, and the confidence to use your body as a resource. And, of course, with a sense of lightness and the feeling of the ocean in your heart. ________________________________________________ Beyond the yoga retreat, the Goodtimes Camp program consists of surfing, open yoga classes for everyone, excursions, and small group events, such as a campfire. Between your scheduled yoga sessions and mealtimes, you have the opportunity to plan your day however you like. At the beginning of the week, there is a taster surfing course for anyone who would like to try this water sport. If you want more, you can book additional courses during the week or use our surfing equipment independently and jump into the water. The same applies to our yoga equipment, which is always available to you outside of the sessions.
If you feel like it, you can also explore the region, walk on the beach or hike in the Sierra D'arga, visit a regional market or take a day trip to the picturesque city of Porto.
