Yanina's yoga retreat takes place at our surf camp in the north of Portugal. Between revitalizing and relaxing yoga sessions and meditation moments, you can expect the beach on your doorstep, professionally guided surf lessons, first-class food, extensive gardens and free time to unwind.

Our camp is located right by the sea and consists of three houses that we share. One of these houses is reserved for our yoga retreats. Yanina teaches yoga at the solidarity-based Yellow Yoga Studio and at Oma Om in Berlin, among others, but also likes to combine her classes with political work and social commitment. In her sessions, she focuses on yin yoga, slow flow and yoga nidra. In between yoga sessions, you can go surfing, go on excursions in the region or simply relax in our gardens or on the beach and enjoy the peace and quiet.

You will be catered for by our two chefs, who will also provide you with a unique culinary vacation and our dedicated team will ensure that you have a week of wellbeing and relaxation in a family atmosphere.

Accommodation

Our camp is located directly by the sea and consists of three detached houses surrounded by a large garden, which we share. One of these houses is reserved for our yoga retreats. The living rooms and gardens are furnished in a variety of ways and there are also other sports facilities. Double rooms can also be booked as single rooms for an extra charge. There is also a suite, a detached building with its own bathroom and bathtub.

Depending on the weather, time of day and the wishes of the group, the yoga sessions take place either outside next to the rocks by the sea, on our self-built wooden platform in one of our gardens or in our cozy yoga room with a view of the sea.

Between the surf and yoga sessions, we also want to ensure a special vacation on our premises. A fire pit, various outdoor sofas and four-poster beds as well as a large sports platform invite you to relax outdoors, be by yourself or do sports. We build much of our furniture ourselves and refurnish the houses every year.

Catering

The food at our camp will be one of the highlights of your vacation. Our two chefs take care of breakfast, lunch and dinner and ensure a balanced, varied, regional and versatile diet. All meals can be adapted to your dietary preferences or possible intolerances on request.

The day at Goodtimes Surfcamp starts with an extensive breakfast, which you can put together yourself at the buffet and eat at the breakfast table, on the terrace or in one of our beautiful sunny spots in the garden. You can choose between sweet and savory options, some of which are complemented by freshly prepared delicacies from the kitchen. At lunchtime, there is a varied lunch buffet and between meals you always have the option to stock up on small snacks, fruit or drinks.
Our dinner is usually served in the garden with a fantastic sea view and always consists of three courses: a soup or salad as a starter, a main course and a dessert creation. The day comes to a relaxed end over a convivial meal with a view of the sun setting over the sea.

Catering at Goodtimes Surfcamp consists of 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches and 5 dinners - for the two food-free evenings, we naturally have the right insider tips for you so that you can also get to know the local cuisine.

Funky Flow & Yummy Yin is aimed at anyone who wants to get involved in undogmatic
yoga, movement, dance and meditation. The morning sessions are
inspired by Tao Yoga, body therapy elements, shaking meditations, Qigong,
Somatics and flow elements that invite you to try out new things and surpass yourself

THE SESSIONS IN DETAIL
The special thing about this trip is the location where we do yoga. Namely

Funky Flow: A wild creation of activating tapping and shaking exercises,

At the beginning of the week, there is a taster surf course for anyone who would like to try out this water sport. If you then want to try more, you can book further courses during the week or use our surf equipment yourself and jump into the water. The same applies to our yoga equipment, which is always available to you in addition to the sessions.

If you feel like it, you can also explore the region, go for a walk on the beach or hike in the Sierra D'arga, visit a local market or take a day trip to the picturesque city of Porto.

Arrival

Our camp operates on a fixed weekly rhythm, with arrival at Goodtimes Surfcamp always on Saturdays. If you would like to arrive a day earlier or leave a day later, we will be happy to organize a room for you in a small hotel around the corner. We can also highly recommend starting your vacation with an overnight stay in Porto.

The nearest airport, Porto (OPO), is the largest airport in northern Portugal and is served by numerous airlines. The airport is approx. 80 km from our camp, alternatively Vigo is also 80 km away and Santiago de Compostela is 150 km away. We offer an airport transfer service from Porto airport several times a day, which is the easiest way to get to our camp.
With a rental car you can of course reach our camp even faster and more flexibly. This also gives you the opportunity to discover the beautiful region independently and easily during your vacation. As the prices for a rental car can be very reasonable, it is worth getting a quote.
There is also the option of taking the train from Porto to the neighboring town of Ancora.
