From August 27 to 30, I invite you to join me in discovering the colors of the Wendland region! As in previous years, we will spend three days and four nights in a very special place.
Gartow offers a variety of hiking trails through nature parks, Elbe riverbanks, and the Nemitz Heath. It's the perfect place to look for regional dye plants. But what's even more exciting about this place is our accommodation: a family of artists has turned the old historic sawmill into a cultural center called Herbsthausen!

Accommodation

We will be staying together in our seminar house. There are seven bedrooms and two bathrooms. Two of the rooms are single rooms, and the other four are double rooms. There is one double room with a large bed. The other double rooms each have two single beds, which can also be pushed together.

Catering

Before our trip, there will be a survey. Favorite foods? Food intolerances? This survey will determine what we buy for our meal plan. I will have a kitchen assistant with me, but you are always welcome to help with cooking or washing up.

Arrival

Arrival is possible until 12:00 noon on Thursday. Public transportation: You can travel by regional train or a combination of train and bus. The journey takes approximately 2 hours from Berlin and approximately 3 hours from Hamburg. On Sunday, I will arrange for transportation from the seminar house to your train connection.

Arrival by car: The journey by car from Hamburg takes approximately 2 hours. If you are coming from Berlin, for example, you will need 3 hours.

Cancellation policy

If you cancel up to 42 days before arrival, you will receive a 80% refund of the booking price.
If you cancel up to 21 days before arrival, you will receive a 20% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.

1. Scope This policy applies to the purchase of tickets for Raus aufs Land im Wendland. By purchasing a ticket, participants accept these terms and conditions. 2. Scope of services The ticket includes: * Participation in all workshop sessions (plant collecting, dye making, painting)
* 3 nights' accommodation in the specified accommodation * Use of rooms with shared bathrooms * Full board (vegetarian/vegan) * All necessary course materials Travel to and from the venue is not included in the ticket price. 3. Booking * Tickets are sold via the specified booking platform or by direct registration.
* The booking is binding. * Places are limited and will be allocated in the order in which payment is received. 4. Payment * The full ticket price must be paid within the specified period. * Only after receipt of payment is the place considered to be bindingly reserved. * In the case of payment by installments (if offered), the respective deadlines apply.
5. Cancellation by participants * Cancellations must be made in writing. * In case of cancellation * up to 6 weeks before the start: 80% refund of the ticket price * up to 3 weeks before the start: 20% refund * less than 3 weeks before the start: no refund
* A replacement participant may be named free of charge. 6. Cancellation or change by the organizer * The retreat may be canceled if there are too few participants or due to unforeseeable circumstances. * In this case, the full ticket price will be refunded. * No further claims (e.g., travel expenses) will be accepted. 7. Health & responsibility
* Participation is at your own risk. * Participants must inform the organizer in advance of any relevant intolerances or allergies. * No liability is accepted for personal belongings. 8. Conduct on site * Respectful behavior towards each other and nature is expected. * Plants may only be collected as part of the workshops and according to instructions.
* The instructions of the course leaders must be followed. 9. Data protection * Personal data will only be used for the purpose of processing the booking and conducting the retreat. * Data will not be passed on to third parties without consent. 10. Final provisions * Should individual points be invalid, the rest of the guidelines remain valid. * German law applies.
