We come together at the beautiful Ashuma Retreat Center in the mountains of Montenegro to practice yoga, meditate and indulge in culinary delights.
We spend the evenings around the campfire after relaxing yoga sessions and can get to know the wonderful Montenegro in all its diversity during the day.
Ashuma is located at an altitude of 1000 m in the middle of Lovcen National Park and is surrounded by beautiful nature.
Accommodation is in luxurious tents with box-spring beds and fully equipped bathrooms, some with unique furniture made of carved wood.
At brunch and dinner, we are spoiled with delicious organic culinary delights. We, Agnes and Simin, have already been there ourselves to see for ourselves the unique beauty of this enchanting corner of the world, the excellent, exceptional food and the warmth of the people up there.
This time-out is particularly suitable for couples and friends, as there are no single rooms (tents) or if you want to travel individually, you have to calculate the price for two people.

The total price for accommodation, meals and yoga program varies depending on the chosen accommodation as follows:

2-person tent with double bed (1.60 m wide): € 490.00 p.p.

2-person tent for single use: € 840 p.p.

2-person tent with two single beds: € 560 p.p.

The energy compensation for yoga is € 339

Flight/transfer (transfer can be organized by Ashuma and costs approx. € 100 per car, not per person)
Travel time from Podgorica approx. 60 minutes, from Tivat approx. 75 minutes.
There are flights to Podgorica or Tivat with Serbia Airlines from several German airports, prices around € 300 (as of 2024)
Eurowings has been flying non-stop from Düsseldorf to Tivat since October.

The excursion program can be discussed on site, it is also possible that only some of the participants will go on the respective excursions.

We sleep in luxurious tents that were made in South Africa. The beds are large and very comfortable, and there are electric blankets that can be used on cooler nights if necessary.
The tents are comfortably furnished to western standards. The furniture is hand-carved and can be found everywhere, not only in the living tents, but also in the tents for chilling out and in the dining tent.

Catering
During our stay we will be spoiled with vegetarian-vegan half board. Everything is organic.
After the first morning yoga session, we will have brunch and dinner around 6 pm.
During the day, you can buy smoothies and healthy snacks at the bar in the chill-out area.
You can tap your own drinking water at various locations throughout the day.

Procedure
Day 1
Arrival from 12 noon, move into your accommodation, explore the center and the surrounding area on your own

6 p.m. Dinner

8 p.m. Round of introductions and gentle yoga to arrive (approx. 90 min)

Day 2
Yoga for a good start to the morning (90 min)

Optional: excursion to the historic harbor town of Kotor or to Skadar Lake, the largest lake in southern Europe.
Skadar Lake is partly in Albania and partly in Montenegro, is a national park and is home to many different bird species, including the last pelicans in Europe.

6 p.m. Dinner

8 pm. Yin Yoga and relaxation (until 21:30)

How to get there:
There are various ways to get here, we list some of them below:

- Wizz Air flies directly to Podgorica from Dortmund
- Serbia Air flies daily from Düsseldorf with a stopover in Belgrade to both Podgorica and Tivat
- If you want to stay longer in Montenegro and/or combine the retreat with a stay in Croatia, you can also fly to Dubrovnik and book a rental car there (travel time approx. 3 hours) The prices for flights vary greatly, currently the flights are around € 300.
Since October 2024 Eurowings offers a direct flight from Düsseldorf to Tivat: Prices as of October one way € 139.

If your flight dates do not fit 1:1 to the beginning of the retreat, then plan an overnight stay in Podgorica, Tivat or Kotor. Contact us if you need a recommendation for a hotel.
The transfer from the airport to the retreat center will be organized by us and is not included in the price.
