Immerse yourself in Tai Chi Chuan

A five-day workshop for beginners and advanced practitioners on one of the most famous and beautiful weapons of Tai Chi Chuan, the stick (also called Bo or Stuff).

Originally used as a walking stick and tool by monks, wanderers and farmers, who were very often attacked by thieves or imperial soldiers, it developed over the years into a protective weapon. Gradually, its effectiveness increased through movements and it soon became an integral part of every kung fu style.

Located on the Tyrolean Fernpass, in the north-west of Austria, close to the German border, the AlpenRetreat is easy to reach via the Fernpass road B179 (E532).

Pick-up from the GH Zugspitzblick bus stop is free of charge - please let us know your arrival time.

Our transfer and pick-up service is intended for those arriving at times when public transportation is no longer available. Please try to come to Lermoos or Nassereith.
