The townhouse is located in Petra, in the heart of Mallorca, between Inca and Manacor, and offers 4 lavishly renovated rooms with modern bathrooms, a roof terrace with unobstructed views of the surrounding area, with the Tramuntana, the vineyards and the Bonany monastery. A small patio (courtyard) invites you to have breakfast. The ZEN room, in the heart of the house, is a place of silence and encounter and the ZEN garden, with its enchanting little summer house, is in the immediate vicinity. There are various meditation spots in the open air and the specially designed water basin gives walking meditation a different dimension.

THE SEMINAR LOCATION

Our house for "Consciousness and Meditation" is located in the immediate vicinity of the baptistery of the Franciscan monk Junipero Serra "San Pere", on the northern outskirts of the small town of PETRA. DAS STADTHAUS is deliberately located in an environment that is familiar to us in everyday life. In order to actually integrate meditation into everyday life, we believe it makes sense to cultivate and train this important aspect. In addition to beautiful rooms with modern bathrooms, the house offers you a roof terrace with an unobstructed view of the surrounding area, with the Tramuntana, the vineyards and the Bonany monastery. In a ZEN garden in the middle of the village, you can practise walking meditation in a specially designed water basin and soak up the atmosphere of the garden. One of the most beautiful excursion destinations for pilgrims and hikers is the Santuari de la Mare de Déu de Bonany monastery, which you can reach on foot from here. This region was recognized as a wine-growing area in 1993 and is ideal for both short and long walks.

You live in a meditation house that offers you a fixed structure for the entire duration of your stay. You start with an active meditation before breakfast. Over the course of the morning, you will alternate between further meditations and self-reflection talks. After lunch, you will have time for the garden or a walk. We begin the second part of the daily structure with a tea ceremony. Afterwards, mindful physical exercises will lead you into the space of body awareness. Further introductions to meditation and discussions will then bring the day to a close at around 21:00 with the conclusion of the evening meditation.
Excursions to the sea and the surrounding area are planned and will be determined together with you.

Seminar leader:
We are Marion and Bernhard Hötzel and we each have over 45 years of meditation experience, 20 of which we have been working as meditation teachers.
In our own institute, as well as guest teachers at other institutes and as lecturers for NEURO-Meditation at the TH-Campus Vienna. We have received traditional training in Asia, the USA and Europe and are very familiar with the humanistic psychology of our modern times.

ARRIVAL

The flight and transfer costs are not included in the tour price! Transfers are sometimes arranged with other participants. Otherwise you can also travel by public transport. The train from Palma takes you directly to Petra. We will of course pick you up at the train station.
