MBSR is short for "Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction", stress management through mindfulness. The program was developed by Jon Kabat Zinn and is taught worldwide. Meditation and mindfulness training have a positive effect on stress, stress-related illnesses and burnout - this has been proven by numerous studies.
Marion and Bernhard Hötzel are MBSR experts who teach all the content of the classic 8-week MBSR course here in a compact form in two daily sessions of 2.5 hours each. In addition to the basic topics mentioned above, general and specific stress issues (private and professional) play a major role. The mindfulness day is largely spent in silence.
