Summary

MBSR - Mindfulness-based stress management at work and beyond - basic seminar
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"There are only two days a year when you can do nothing. One is yesterday, the other tomorrow. This means that today is the right day to love, to believe and, above all, to live." (Dalai Lama)

The course teaches scientifically proven methods of mindfulness that are suitable for everyday use to develop stress management and relaxation skills. The aim is to strengthen your own resilience in order to arm yourself against stress-related illnesses such as burnout and to increase your well-being at work and in your private life.

The program combines meditative exercises in rest and movement with the latest findings from modern psychology and stress research. Using the MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) method, we learn how to transform automatic reactions into conscious perceptions, recognize thoughts and beliefs that exacerbate stress and act mindfully in harmony with our own needs.

TARGET GROUP
This course is ideal for people who:

- want to improve the way they deal with stress at work and in everyday life,
- want to improve their physical and mental performance,
- struggle with challenges such as lack of concentration, nervousness, insomnia and exhaustion,
- want to develop creative solution strategies,
- are burdened by acute or chronic illnesses,
- want to overcome fear and worry,
- want to boost their self-esteem,
- suffer from chronic pain,
- are looking for complementary approaches to medical or psychotherapeutic treatment,
- experience psychosomatic complaints,
- are exposed to high performance and expectation pressure,
- want to actively promote and maintain their health,
- want to lead a more conscious, self-responsible and constructive life,
- want to relax and slow down their lives,
- are interested in mindfulness and meditation.

MBSR training, a scientifically recognized method for stress management and health prophylaxis, is practiced worldwide in organizations and companies such as SAP, Deutsche Bundesbank, BASF and Google. In the USA, mindfulness training is already standard in employee development and training. It serves as self-help and supplements, but does not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.
