Summary

Sometimes it’s just time to take some time for yourself...

Maybe you know the feeling: in your day-to-day life, it always feels like there’s never enough time—not enough time for work, not enough time at home, for family, for exercise, and when you think about the last time you sat on the couch with a book, it seems like years ago. And honestly—when was the last time you took time for yourself? Without pressure, without appointments, just for whatever feels good in the moment? Real, genuine “me time,” in other words?

Time for a few days outside of space and time, at a particularly powerful place in the heart of the French Vosges. This is where the Vogesenhof is located, a wonderfully restored former 18th-century farmhouse. A place to arrive and recharge. In a small, intimate group. And simply be.

This weekend, you’ll enjoy active and relaxing yoga sessions (Vinyasa and Yin Yoga), powerful workshops, beautiful hikes with some elevation gain, meditations to find peace and reconnect with yourself, movement, and delicious full board (plus the occasional inspiration for your kitchen at home). And you’ll spend four wonderful days in a very special place surrounded by nature.

What truly matters to you? What would you do if anything were possible? Sometimes all it takes is a little time, the right environment, and new inspiration to reconnect with ourselves. Our program—centered around yoga, meditation, nature, rituals, personal development, self-discovery, and indulgent experiences—aims to give you fresh inspiration and ideas to fully tap into your power and integrate it easily and effortlessly into your life and daily routine. After all, yoga happens off the mat too :-)

Enjoy four wonderfully restorative days just for you
We’ll start as early as Thursday, April 30, and include the holiday on May 1—because a four-day retreat is better than just three! Our shared yoga retreat takes place at a lovingly restored seminar farm, a former farmhouse, nestled in the heart of the French Vosges Mountains. A place that is both magical and powerful, guaranteeing absolute tranquility. Here you’ll be pampered with plenty of space and time for yourself, while also enjoying the company of a small, intimate group.

Our retreats are themed around the seasons. We practice yoga as often as possible and offer additional activities, such as (herbal) hikes or meditations, in the great outdoors.

The weekend is suitable for anyone who enjoys practicing yoga and already has some prior experience.
A program for body, mind, and soul—and for well-being on every level.

Catering

The owners of the Vogesenhof provide us with delicious meals:
fresh, homemade vegetarian—and in some cases vegan—delicacies (brunch, dinner, light snacks, and fruit for in between meals). Authenticity, seasonality, and regional sourcing are of the utmost importance to us. To prepare our dishes, we primarily use organic, regional products such as fruits, vegetables, herbs, cheese, and grains, preferably from the farm garden, nearby farms, and small markets. It is also important to us that we eat together at a large table in a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. We want to bring people together not only through yoga, meditation, and hikes in nature, but also to foster a sense of community over good food. We are happy to accommodate individual needs, such as dietary restrictions due to allergies.

sequence

5:00 PM: Introductions in the yoga room (our "official" start :-))

Friday & Saturday, May 1 and 2, 2026

We’ll start at 8:30 a.m. with a silent walk or an (outdoor) meditation to get the day off to a good start. Afterward, we’ll meet for the first yoga class and around 10:15 a.m. for a delicious brunch (buffet, hot and cold) in the fireplace room.

At least once, we’ll set out on an approximately 2.5-hour hike to the waterfalls, and on one day we’ll meet in the afternoon for a workshop.

A light lunch awaits us—depending on the schedule—around 1:30 p.m. You’ll have plenty of free time on both Friday and Saturday—for a good book, sunbathing, a nice walk, or a wonderfully soothing massage, as offered at the Vogesenhof.

In the early evening, there’s a relaxing yoga session, and around 7:00 p.m. we’ll eat together and then consciously wind down the day.

Sunday, May 3, 2026

Approx. 8:30 – 10:15 a.m.: Outdoor breath meditation & Yoga Peak Pose Flow

12:00 p.m.: You’ll have plenty of time for a relaxed check-out
Approx. 1:00 PM: Closing session & farewell (End of the seminar approx. 2:00–2:30 PM)

I want to design the program thoughtfully and also give you plenty of time for breaks, for reflection, and simply for yourself. We’re usually already stressed enough; we really don’t need that this weekend :-)
This is your weekend retreat, and you’re warmly invited to participate in all the activities—but also to take time for mindful retreat and “me-time” whenever you need it.

Arrival

You can also find travel information on the Vogesenhof Seminar Farm website. It’s easy to get there by car or train (the Remiremont train station is 12 km from the Vogesenhof).
