MELLOW WAVES ____________________________________________ Your yoga and surf retreat Since the beginning of my yoga journey and also influenced by surfing, I have been a big fan of the art of slow and simple living. Gentle waves. When you slow down, you experience moments more intensely – especially the beautiful ones. For me, this means consciously taking time and space for the things that really matter. Time for exercise—because you can, not because you have to, time for a leisurely breakfast, space to learn new things or talk to people in peace, laugh together, and share stories around the campfire. Because in the end, that's what it's all about: having as much fun as possible in life. My retreats are the best embodiment of this for me: more time to feel into asanas, time for deeper relaxation, space for exchange and connection, time for yourself and nature, time to feel every breath. Get out of your own bubble and the roles you play in everyday life and just be yourself.
In the morning, we start the day energetically with a Vinyasa Flow on our ocean-view platform. In the evening, things calm down – we flow through regenerating slow flows. Sometimes powerful, sometimes gentle – just like the waves. Always accompanied by breathing techniques to help you find your way back to natural, full breathing, as well as meditation, yoga nidra, or other relaxation techniques. Of course, there will also be hands-on, small massages, and assists if you wish. __________________________________________ Beyond the yoga retreat, our camp program consists of surfing, open yoga classes for everyone, excursions, and small group events, such as a campfire. Between your scheduled yoga sessions and mealtimes, you have the opportunity to organize your day completely freely. At the beginning of the week, there will be a trial surfing course for anyone who would like to try this water sport. If you want more, you can book additional courses during the week or use our surfing equipment on your own and jump into the water. The same applies to our yoga equipment, which is always available to you outside of the sessions.
If you feel like it, you can also explore the region, walk on the beach or hike in the Sierra D'arga, visit a regional market or take a day trip to the picturesque city of Porto.
