The beautiful nature of the Sauerland, which is directly adjacent to the monastery, invites you to take a walk during the breaks to deepen your experience of deceleration, peace and quiet.
What you can expect
The 2.5-day retreat in summer combines methods of mindfulness, regenerative yin yoga, mindful body exercises, MBSR exercises (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), nature experiences through forest bathing, silent walks and breath walks as well as various meditation techniques. The aim is to facilitate a profound and clarifying mind detox. In a world that is often characterized by noise and constant stimulation, silence allows the brain to take a break and recover from these stresses. This leads to a reduction in cortisol levels and an improvement in general well-being.
Promoting inner peace and balance: Silent sessions allow participants to delve deeper into their inner world. These times of calm and silence allow them to strengthen their inner harmony and come to terms with themselves, which contributes to greater mental clarity and emotional balance. Silence promotes increased mindfulness, which helps to experience the moment more consciously and to detach from negative thought patterns.
A healthy, wholesome, vegan-based diet supports the participants on a mental, emotional and physical level during the retreat.
