Summary

Mindfulness means being fully present with yourself, tuning into your mind, letting your thoughts wander, and focusing entirely on what is happening in the here and now. The practice of mindfulness is often used as a tool for stress reduction, since it allows you to focus solely on the present moment and leaves no room for distractions. There are many methods for practicing relaxation, such as autogenic training, yoga, walking, or even painting. In the “Be Fully Present” retreat, we spend a day exploring colors, images, and inspiration in combination with mindfulness. But relaxation exercises are also part of the day, allowing us to settle in, find our center, and fully immerse ourselves in our creativity. Everyday life stays outside. We dive into the world of colors. There are no rules when it comes to painting. Discover what inspires you and look forward to what you’ll create on your canvas.

Accommodation

Accommodation is not included in the price. However, if you are traveling from far away, there are options for staying nearby. Just mention this in your inquiry, and I’ll include addresses for nearby hotels or vacation rentals (one of which is located on the same street) in my reply.

Catering

Drinks such as tea, water, and coffee will be provided during the workshop. Light snacks and fruit are also included in the price. Please let me know your dietary preferences when booking so that I can accommodate your needs.

The first day of the workshop begins at 10:00 a.m. After a brief round of introductions, we’ll start with a relaxation exercise to “settle in.” Next, you’ll gain insight into the 7 stages of mindfulness, various mindfulness exercises, and how to integrate mindfulness into your daily life. Then we’ll move on to painting. Various painting methods will be offered, such as mandalas, acrylics, and pencil drawing. There are no rules. Everyone is welcome to experiment with brushes or pencils and let their imagination run wild. The day ends around 4:00 p.m. with a brief feedback session.
The second day of our workshop also begins at 10:00 a.m. We’ll start with a short walk, during which we’ll pack up our art supplies. While we walk, we’ll take the time to capture the moment in color. We’ll let nature inspire us. Here, too, there are no rules, no right or wrong. Just be, in the here and now.
