MBSR – Stress Management through Mindfulness – Time for Yourself – A Break at the Monastery Mindfulness empowers people and allows them to enter into a loving relationship with life. There is no button that can eliminate your inner to-do list or turn off the mind's chatter, but there is a way to calm the mind. This leads to greater serenity, more joy in life, and greater resilience. Breathe, feel your body in motion and at rest, encounter yourself, experience nature, look inward, recognize patterns, and break new ground... learn the art of mindfulness or deepen your practice.

Experience for yourself how powerful mindfulness can be! You will have plenty of time for yourself. For introspection and reflection. The week is ideal for getting to know MBSR. MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction) is a widely researched mindfulness training program for stress reduction.

You will learn methods - to reduce professional and personal stress - to strengthen your health, resilience, and vitality - Joy and serenity will find their way back into your life - You will be guided back to the here and now again and again - Improvement in dealing with illness, pain, and fears - Greater clarity and ability to concentrate
- Escape from the rat race and constant hustle and bustle, as well as - Escape from unfavorable patterns of thinking and behavior. With - Gentle body and awareness exercises (body scan, mindful yoga while lying down and standing) - Sitting meditations (breathing meditations, guided meditations, mindfulness meditations)
- Walking meditation outdoors in nature you have the opportunity to bring your mind, body, and soul into balance. The days are rounded off with group discussions, short talks, and awareness exercises.

You will slow down, experience a clear mind, treat your body with mindfulness, and recognize your limits and patterns. We will also discuss the basics of stress management, learn to communicate mindfully, which fundamentally improves interpersonal relationships, and explore the topic of mindful nutrition and lifestyle.

Experience yourself in your entirety and look forward to a conscious and nourishing break. The seminar includes a day of silence. This is a special opportunity to experience the power of silence. You will also receive documentation and the practiced exercises in mp3 format so that you can deepen what you have learned at home.

Accommodation

Book a room of your choice. You can stay in a shared room from as little as €22, or choose a standard single room for €50 or a room in a higher category. Whatever suits you best. Once you have received a seminar code from me, please book the room yourself, quoting this code.

Catering

Full vegetarian board costs €43 per day and includes a very generous buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food is delicious Asian and German cuisine, and my seminar participants so far have been delighted. Book your meals when you book your room.

You will find a safe space where you can retreat if you feel like it. There is no obligation to speak. The group size will be limited to a maximum of 10 people.

The seminar begins on Monday at 7 p.m. and ends on Friday afternoon between 3 and 4 p.m. You are welcome to arrive during the day.

I found the MBSR week very profound and, after one participant dropped out, we were a very harmonious group. Martina's empathetic nature and her responsiveness to the needs of the individuals was really good. We were in Martina's course from Monday to Friday. It was a wonderful experience. One course participant went a bit off the rails and simply left the course without talking to Martina or us. Unfortunately, further contact from Martina came to nothing. I felt really sorry for Martina. After the break-off, we were all relieved as a group and were able to open up completely. We cried together, laughed together and were able to work out a lot for ourselves. Another meeting is already being planned for next year. I will definitely be back. Simply a wonderful and rewarding experience. Thank you Martina for this wonderful time with you

Full refund up to 43 days before arrival.
If you cancel up to 42 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.

You can also take out affordable private travel cancellation insurance for seminars. The early bird price for the dates September 29 - October 3, 2025 is valid until August 31, 2025 and costs €450, after which the price is €490.
