Summary

Nateea Yoga and Contes du Désert invite you to a unique, authentic nomadic experience,
a journey back to yourself, into the vastness of the desert and into the depths of your feminine power.
Sahara Shakti is more than just a retreat.

It is a return to yourself, to the part of you that thrives in the community of women, feels at home in your body and flows in harmony with your natural feminine wisdom.

A nomadic journey to yourself
Step into a true, original nomadic adventure and experience the Sahara the way women have done for centuries.
Simple, slow, conscious and full of soul.
Leave the noise of the world behind you, no emails, no phones, just you, the vastness of the desert and the rhythm of your breath.
For three days, we will walk through the golden dunes of the Sahara, guided by our Moroccan hosts, accompanied by your sunny yoga teacher and a group of like-minded women.
Together we will discover the hidden wonders of the desert and the hidden treasures within ourselves.

In the rhythm of the desert, in the heart of femininity
In the Sahara, women have always been the silent heart of nomadic life.
They tended the fire, prepared nourishing food, cared for the animals and passed on songs, stories and healing knowledge from generation to generation.
Much of what our male guides know about the land, its rhythms and its survival skills originally came from their mothers and grandmothers.
As we walk here as a circle of women, we are tapping into this lineage of strength, gentleness and intuitive wisdom.
We honor the women who were here before us as we rediscover our own true nature.
Living like nomadic women
This journey is a true, authentic nomadic experience.
We sleep either under the endless starry sky or in tents on simple mattresses.
Our guides show us how to live and survive in the desert. They prepare simple but delicious meals with ingredients that are easy to carry and in harmony with nature.
Their cuisine is characterized by tradition, mindfulness and the art of appreciating the essentials.
Abbadin and his team provide shade during the hottest hours, serve sweet mint tea and guide us through the ever-changing shapes of the desert with love and experience.
Our days begin with yoga at sunrise, followed by a simple breakfast,
and end with an evening practice as the sun sinks into the horizon.
We will share a walking meditation, swap stories or simply enjoy the silence, the soft crackling of the sand beneath our feet and the infinity around us.
With a bit of luck, we may even encounter desert animals such as wild camels, jackals, desert foxes or ostriches.
A journey to the essence
These three days are an invitation to slow down, shed some baggage and reconnect with your true self.
A time out to live in harmony with nature, to ground yourself, to breathe and to connect with beautiful, like-minded women.
An adventure for body, mind and soul
and a reminder that everything you are looking for is already within you.

Day 1: Arrival & journey into the desert
Welcome to Morocco!
Our journey begins in the vibrant city of Marrakech, where our group will be picked up in the morning and embark on a scenic drive to M'Hamid El Ghizlane, the gateway to the Sahara.
On the way, we will stop for lunch at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aït Ben Haddou, one of Morocco's most famous and best-preserved examples of traditional adobe architecture. This ancient ksar enchants with its winding alleyways, ornately decorated kasbahs and characteristic Berber patterns, a true paradise for photographers, art lovers and film fans (you might recognize it from Gladiator, Game of Thrones or other movies).
At sunset, we reach the desert of M'Hamid, where we are greeted with traditional music and Moroccan tea. A nutritious dinner awaits us under the twinkling stars as we slowly get into the rhythm of the desert.

Day 2: Departure for the Sahara
We greet the day with an invigorating sunrise yoga session to ground ourselves and get in the mood for our journey.
After a hearty breakfast, we begin our hike into the endless expanse of the Sahara. At lunchtime, we take a break in Ras Nekhale, where we rest in the shade and recharge our batteries.
In the late afternoon we reach Dune Douib, our camp for the night, after about 5.5 hours of walking. A gentle yin yoga class and a breathtaking sunset over the golden dunes await us here.
The evening is ours for storytelling, singing, dancing, laughing or simply being quiet under the stars. A delicious dinner rounds off this magical day.

Day 3: Camels, dunes & connection
After a gentle morning yoga practice and breakfast, we set off to find our camels, which were allowed to graze freely during the night.
Our hike takes us through changing landscapes, from dunes to rocky plains and wild rocula fields. We stop for a picnic at Wad Naam and rest during the hot midday hours.
In the late afternoon we reach the area around Erg Bertham, where we set up camp. After another soothing yoga session, we enjoy dinner and end the day in peace.

Day 4: Last stage & return to M'Hamid
Our last full day in the desert begins with yoga and breakfast. We then break camp and begin our journey from Erg Bertham to Mezouaria, our last stop before returning to M'Hamid.
A well-deserved lunch awaits us there, time to relax and reflect and a last, unforgettable sunset over the desert. We spend the night once again under the stars in our desert base camp.

Day 5: Farewell to the Sahara - return to Marrakech
We start the day with one last yoga session in the morning and breakfast together. We then make our way back to Marrakech, where we enjoy lunch together on the way.
We arrive in Marrakech in the late afternoon and say goodbye full of gratitude and new energy. If your schedule allows, we recommend staying a few more days in the city, exploring the lively souks, treating yourself to a traditional hammam bath and immersing yourself in the fascinating culture of Morocco.
Please note: This is a sample program. The exact itinerary will be announced on arrival.

We celebrate your adventurous spirit and look forward to sharing this unforgettable journey with you!
