This five-day retreat is aimed at people who are under a lot of mental and emotional stress, at anyone who wants to learn how to consciously perceive strong emotions, inner tension, or physical reactions and how to respond to them with self-compassion. In a trauma-sensitive, protected environment, you will learn how to expand your inner capacity—that is, the ability to hold challenging sensations without being overwhelmed by them. The practice combines gentle, trauma-sensitive yoga with somatic movement exercises, breath work, and guided body journeys. Journaling, reflection rounds, and small group work support the conscious integration of the experience. Each session invites you to mindfully feel your own body, perceive your limits, and develop trust in your own self-regulatory abilities. A typical day begins in the morning with gentle yoga and breathing exercises that promote body awareness and prepare the nervous system for a calm day. In the morning, somatic awareness exercises and journaling deepen the perception of sensations and emotions. After a vegetarian-vegan lunch, there is time for retreat and self-care – whether it's a walk across the expansive meadows, reading a good book, or individual forest bathing.
In the afternoon, body-mind workshops combine somatic movement, breathwork, and asana practice with in-depth background knowledge. You will not only experience the physical effects of the exercises, but also their influence on emotional regulation and nervous system balance – with impulses that can be mindfully integrated into everyday life. The day ends with meditation, silent practice, or a reflection session, creating space for processing and integration.
The quiet, secluded location of the Kleebauer Hof with its 230,000 m² of meadows and forest areas, sauna, and conscious reduction to the essentials supports this process in a natural way. Somatic healing is not only practiced here, but can be experienced throughout the entire daily rhythm. Look forward to:
