Hello there :)
What does it actually mean to switch off in a world where we are constantly online?
This retreat is a short break from the outside world so that you can come back to yourself.
That's why the cell phone stays off and the focus is allowed to return to where it often falls short: the here and now.
Come with me, Valerie, to Lake Starnberg and enjoy a relaxing weekend with daily yoga, crocheting together by the tiled stove, delicious vegetarian food and lots of time just for you.
What can you expect?
YOGA
Yoga & meditation are wonderful ways to reconnect with ourselves through movement, breath and sound. They strengthen us, ground us and help us to feel what is really good for us.
Let yourself be inspired by the impulses and take with you exactly what feels right for you - for your everyday life and yourself.
CRAVING
Relaxation cannot always be forced - sometimes it only comes from doing. When we switch off our heads, work with our hands and come fully into our own, the mind often finds peace of its own accord.
Yoga and crochet come together in this retreat - last year I discovered crochet for myself and was surprised at how meditative and calming it is. During the retreat, I will show you step by step how to crochet your own hat - completely relaxed, stitch by stitch.
Whether you already have crochet experience or this is your first time with wool, the workshop is suitable for all levels.

ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm Valerie and I'll be accompanying you on this retreat :)
The idea for this retreat came about after I started crocheting last year and realized how decelerating and meditative it is. I love to romanticize life a bit, and so I had the idea: Why not organize a crochet retreat in a rustic hut at Lake Starnberg?
Here we go.
In addition to crocheting, I have been practicing yoga for over 12 years and have been teaching it for 6 years. For me, yoga means creating a loving home within ourselves - in body and mind. Sometimes flowing, sometimes very calm, in my classes we move away from the outside and towards ourselves. I have been teaching retreats in Sri Lanka, Spain, Portugal and now also in Bavaria for 3 years.

I'm really looking forward to it!
