The Vierkanthof in a secluded location with a view over the hilly landscape of the Mühlviertel offers the ideal atmosphere for a sustainable break. Try out new things, clear your head and feel the impetus for change. You will find retreat and peace at the natural swimming pond, in the woods and in the vastness of the gently rolling landscape. Enjoy moments of relaxation in the pine-scented sauna and in the evening in a cozy atmosphere around the fire bowl.
Modern, vegetarian-vegan cuisine awaits you at the Kleebauer Hof Retreat Center. Start the day with a feel-good breakfast with breads, jams, cheese, freshly prepared porridge, fruit, various types of milk, yogurt, fruit juices, spreads, coffee and different teas. At 2 pm we serve you a light lunch with a warming soup and spreads with bread or pastries.
The focus of this Pilates retreat is on the variety and quality of movement and the precise execution of movement according to the principles of the Pilates method. This physical focus allows us to gradually recognize the difference this awareness makes in movement on all levels - internally and externally, physically and mentally.
Breathing techniques and movement sequences in this program challenge your concentration and coordination - allowing a harmonious connection between body and mind to develop. Susanna Lyon, your program leader, incorporates her knowledge as a physiotherapist into the program and can therefore take physical limitations into consideration. Newcomers are just as welcome as people with Pilates experience.
About Pilates Pilates is a mat workout with little or no equipment and can be described as a journey from standing upright through various starting positions on the mat back to standing. Pilates includes flexibility, strengthening and stretching. The goal and result is a stable center from which movements can be performed smoothly and easily.
Program schedule: 7.00-8.00 am: Pilates before breakfast 10.00-11.00 a.m.: Meditation and/or mindfulness exercises
16.00-17.00: Meditation and/or mindfulness exercises 17.00-18.00: Pilates before dinner
