Qigong and Taiji in the monastery - Find your balance

Jüchen, Germany

Summary

Taiji and Qigong complement each other perfectly. Both forms of movement bring you perfectly into your center and help you to be more mindful. In Qigong, you gather your energy and maintain your energy and health with meditative movements. Taiji helps you to train your balance and coordination. The course is suitable for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.
Mindful walking through nature and the monastery garden promotes mindfulness and focuses your attention on the essentials. The time-out weekend is rounded off with silent and guided meditations, which can have a special effect in a group. Some of the meditations are accompanied by singing bowls or frame drums. The sounds deepen the relaxation and reach the soul level. In between, there is enough time to process the impressions, let the monastery atmosphere take effect and let your mind wander. With numerous exercises, we repeatedly focus on the moment and pure perception, so that the practice of mindfulness is deepened. Qigong and meditation teacher Kerstin Wessel is a certified Qigong teacher recognized by the German Taiji-Qigong Association, a communication trainer and a qualified TCM therapist and meditation trainer. Trainer Marcel Sturm is a certified Qigong, Taiji and Kung Fu trainer and fitness coach.

sequence

The Taiji and Qigong units will alternate. The program will be designed in such a way that the movements in the Taiji choreography can also be found in the Qigong exercises, so that the recognition effect and body memory help in learning the more complex movement form of Taiji. The program is therefore feasible for everyone and both beginners and advanced practitioners benefit from the deepening of the movement sequences.
