Summary

RADICAL REST RETREAT - Deep stillness, powerful grounding, connecting with what truly matters.

A new world is not only possible; it is already emerging. On a quiet day, you can hear it breathing. - Arundhati Roy

In a world marked by hustle and bustle, pressure to perform, and constant activity, Radical Rest offers a new and innovative approach. A balance of relaxed silence, guided practice, and inspiring insights supports you in finding deep stillness and making space for new realizations.
The retreat not only provides you with a safe space of silence and connection but also offers you the opportunity to experience yourself on a deeper level and realign yourself.

Meditation, self-compassion, creative self-exploration, and mindful experiences of nature come together to form a powerful path of inner and outer transformation.
The concept of Radical Rest is rooted in the Buddhist tradition and draws on the essence of Wiebke’s many years of experience as a trainer for Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC), leading retreats, and her own decades-long meditation practice.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Effortless Mindfulness
Guided meditations while sitting, walking, lying down, and in motion. Mindfulness can be effortless—you explore your personal path to being present without pressure or strain. This approach can enrich your life in a gentle and sustainable way and give you new inspiration.

Lying Down Meditation/Deep Rest
While traditional meditation is often practiced while sitting, lying down meditation opens up a new path to deep relaxation, clarity, and presence.

Self-Compassion as the Key to Transformation
You’ll learn effective meditations from the MSC program. The foundation for change is a loving connection to yourself. Adopt a gentle yet powerful attitude—perceive your own needs, recognize your boundaries, and discover inner sources of strength.

Guided nature walks and creative expression
Expand your perspective through contemplation and meditation in nature, gain new insights, and deepen your experience through creative expression. No prior artistic experience is necessary.

The retreat takes place in a relaxed atmosphere of silence, which supports your personal process and allows you to experience a sense of connection with the group even without words. There will be group sessions addressing questions about the practice, as well as the opportunity for one-on-one conversations with Wiebke.

Radical Rest as a Path to Collective Awakening
Radical Rest goes beyond personal transformation. When we pause, find stillness, and connect with ourselves, a space for clarity and authenticity emerges. From this inner strength, we are able to bring the change we desire into the world. Transformation is possible—and it begins with you.

Everyone is welcome, and I look forward to the diversity—whether in terms of culture, ethnicity, background, gender identity, sexual orientation, etc.—that each of you brings to our group!
