Do you live in a city and suffer from the climate there? Is it too hot for you in summer, the air too thick to breathe? Relax in the Swiss Valais at an altitude of over 1600m.
Breathe in the fresh mountain air and find peace and balance in the forests around Grächen. In cities, with their many houses and streets, it often gets much hotter in summer than in less built-up areas. Noise and traffic are further stress factors. Reason enough to travel and seek relaxation in nature. Although Grächen statistically has 300 days of sunshine a year, at an altitude of over 1600m the temperatures usually remain bearable, and if it does get hot, the forest is close by and is also the venue for this retreat.
Every day, we spend several hours in the forest, finding peace, mindfully observing what we encounter in nature, how we encounter each other as participants, and how you encounter yourself.
In addition to larch trees, the forests around Grächen are home to Swiss stone pines. Alongside the general benefits of forest air, these two trees determine the health benefits of staying in the forests around Grächen. I will introduce these trees in my blog.
You can expect regeneration through active relaxation in the fresh forest air and mindful awareness in nature. The longer you can treat yourself to this, the more lasting the effects on your health and well-being are likely to be. But even a weekend is more restful than none at all.
