Authentic and loving yoga classes with yoga teacher Franzi (founder of Yoga Lotusland Eckernförde): Hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga for all levels with asanas (postures), pranayama (breathing exercises), savasana (deep relaxation), meditation, loving support and assists. The postures and exercises help you to find and strengthen the connection to your inner self, to experience balance, calm and clarity.
Transformative breathing with breathing coach Irma:
Experiences and all associated emotions are stored in the body, as is the way we breathe in these situations. Negative stress, for example, can lead to shortness of breath or tension in the body.
Transformative breathing is a breathing technique that helps to process emotions on a physical, mental and deep subconscious level.
Experience what it is like to use your full breathing capacity again.
Irma guides us on how to release physical tension in the body (jaw, abdomen, chest, back) and also stress. The breath becomes natural, open and flows in a relaxed pattern. This gives the body more oxygen, more energy, a better condition and (blocked) emotions can be released.
Slow jogging - gentle cardiovascular training as the perfect complement to yoga practice:
This special running technique is easy, healthy and fun, as the pace is based on your individual comfort zone. You take lots of small steps instead of big ones and run on your midfoot. Your posture is upright and relaxed and your breathing flows naturally and freely. This makes you feel great during and after running and motivates you to run regularly.

The Winterrade conference and seminar house is situated in a peaceful location in the beautiful countryside between Eckernförde and Schleswig. The surrounding countryside invites you to take a walk to the Baltic Sea fjord Schlei, which is only 1500 meters away.
The house is surrounded by a spacious garden and there are several farms in the neighborhood. In the garden there is a beach volleyball court, a boules court and a table tennis table and table football in the stable building. Two terraces invite you to linger in the fresh air.
The conference house has 13 rooms and 8 bathrooms as well as a group room, a cozy common room with a fireplace and, of course, a dining room and kitchen. Accommodation is available in shared, double or single rooms for one or two people.

It was a phenomenal weekend on the Schlei. Meditative walks in the morning as the sun rose over the Schlei. Very varied activities throughout the day, of course the focus on yoga, these sessions were also all different and therefore extremely varied. One of the highlights was yoga on the beach! Slow jogging was a new and exciting experience for me. The additional sessions on breathing, meditation and mantra chanting rounded off the program perfectly. Transformative breathing was a method I hadn't used before and I found it quite exhausting to do. I had to concentrate very hard, but it actually allowed me to bring things to light from my subconscious that I obviously still needed to "work on". Every day at brunch and dinner time, super delicious vegan food, lovingly prepared as a buffet. I will definitely be booking my next retreat weekend very soon!

A great weekend with two fantastic teachers who passed on their in-depth knowledge to the participants in a way that was easy to understand, with a lot of warmth, humor and perfect practical assistance. For me, it was a very harmonious atmosphere, both in terms of the premises and the wonderfully tasty, fresh, varied and nutritious food, as well as the very harmonious, open and appreciative community of participants. Conclusion: absolutely recommendable!!! 😀
