Summary

In the shamanic tradition, knowledge of the elements is of fundamental importance. It is not merely about their physical presence, but about the essence of the forces they embody. The elements—earth, water, fire, and air—are interconnected in all things. Their presence permeates both the visible and the invisible aspects of nature.

The energy of these elements is in constant interaction with one another. Their movement and interplay strive for harmony, and they play a central role in shamanic cosmology.

During these days, we will connect deeply with the four elements. Through meditations, rituals, and experiences in nature, we will explore and deepen our understanding of the essence of each element. This is not only about understanding, but also about experiencing and being initiated into the forces of nature.

On these special days, we embark on a journey to the four great forces of nature: earth, water, fire, and air.
These forces are not merely around us—they live within us, permeate us, nourish us, challenge us, and remind us that we are part of a greater whole.

In the shamanic worldview, the elements are regarded as sacred entities, as living forces that teach us, accompany us, and support us on our path. Those who open themselves to them enter a space of deep connection—with nature, with themselves, and with that which is greater than us.

In this seminar, we dedicate a separate space to each element:

*We meditate with each respective force
* we explore its qualities out in nature and within ourselves,
* we make contact—through rituals, ceremonies, and conscious engagement
* we learn how to invite and guide them—for purification, grounding, clarification, gaining strength, and inner alignment.

This intense, direct connection opens up deep levels of perception. It can trigger healing impulses and lead us back to our original power

My knowledge comes from various traditional sources. My initiation into Buryat-Mongolian shamanism was particularly formative—an ancient, powerful lineage in which the elements are revered and called upon as spiritual allies.

With this course, I also build a bridge to our own cultural roots. For in our own country, too, knowledge of the elements was once preserved as a sacred treasure. It is time to bring this connection back to life—for ourselves, our communities, and future generations.

Most of the seminar will take place in the great outdoors.
The direct experience in the forest, by the water, with the wind, and under the open sky gives us a deep, physically tangible understanding of the elements. This strengthens, clarifies, and permeates—in a natural way.

I look forward to these powerful days, Petra

Arrival

Getting Here

By Train:
By Bus and Train
Take the train to Eberswalde, then take bus 912 to Brodowin Dorf.

Alternatively, take the regional express to Chorin station (departs hourly from Berlin Central Station in 40 minutes), and arrange for a pickup from there. From the station, it’s about 6 km through the forest to Brodowin. Pickup service: €5

By car:
From Berlin, take the A11 toward Szczecin to the “Joachimsthal” exit. Then turn left toward Angermünde, passing Groß- and Klein-Ziethen, and after about 8 km, turn right at the junction with the B2 toward Eberswalde. Drive through the town of Serwest, cross the railroad tracks, and immediately after that, turn left toward Brodowin and follow the road through the forest for the last few kilometers.

Note: Your GPS may suggest the shortcut via Senftenhütte as the shortest route after the highway exit—a very scenic route through the beech forest, but the cobblestone road is only suitable for vehicles with sturdy suspensions.

Alternatively—the exit is one before Joachimsthal, but the route is a bit longer—take the “Chorin” exit, drive through Britz to the B 2, then turn left toward Angermünde, drive through the town and past Chorin Monastery, and after about 3 more kilometers, turn right toward Brodowin.

The trip fully met my expectations. Loving company, varied food, a small group and the seminar house in an almost untouched natural setting made the days an experience. I can recommend the course to anyone who is looking for profound experiences.
