4-Day Digital Detox Retreat in Nature for Adults – Go Offline. Stay a Kid by the Baltic Sea
Süsel, Germany
$497 / 4 Days
Do you long for more peace, clarity, and connection with yourself?
I invite you to consciously step away from your daily routine for a few days and immerse yourself in the healing power of silence, meditation, and simplicity.
Together, we’ll spend this time at the Niederaltaich Monastery in southern Germany—a special place of peace and reflection right on the Danube. Surrounded by nature, a peaceful atmosphere, and plenty of space for retreat, this setting allows thoughts to quiet down and your inner voice to become audible once again.
During the retreat, we’ll practice mindful silence. Often, it’s only in silence that we can truly take a deep breath, see more clearly, and reconnect with ourselves.
You can look forward to daily meditations, gentle Hatha yoga, breathing and mindfulness practices, guided deep relaxation sessions, as well as time for reflection, walks, and rest.
The retreat combines elements of meditation, yoga, Advaita Vedanta, Buddhism, and Western contemplation—down-to-earth, open, and free from dogma. It’s not about having to perform or achieve anything, but rather about slowing down, letting go, and stepping away from the constant hustle and bustle for a few days.
This retreat is for people who long for peace, clarity, a slower pace, and a mindful break. After leading many retreats and groups in Mexico, Bali, and Germany, I’m delighted to once again open this space at the Niederaltaich Monastery.
I look forward to seeing you!

We eat our meals together in silence. A separate area in the dining hall is reserved for our group, which has proven very effective during past retreats.
Please note that at times, other guests or seminar groups who are not part of the silent retreat may also be in the dining hall.
If you have any food intolerances or special dietary needs, please check directly with the monastery in advance to see if appropriate accommodations can be made.
Each day follows a gentle, clear rhythm—guided by silence, mindfulness, and presence.
The morning begins in silence with a 60–90-minute guided meditation before breakfast. This is followed by a short spiritual reading or inspirational message to deepen your practice and offer new insights. Afterward, we practice gentle Hatha yoga and mindful movement to connect body and mind and deepen our breath.
After a vegetarian lunch, there is plenty of time for rest, journaling, contemplation, or walks in nature.
In the afternoon, you’ll deepen your practice with another meditation session, followed by half an hour of independent practice. After dinner, we’ll have the daily Q&A session (questions can be submitted in writing). We’ll conclude the day with a meditation on a specific theme or focus.
This peaceful alternation between structure and space lays the foundation for deep regeneration, clarity, and connection with yourself.
