LOM®live on Crete
Solution-oriented painting therapy LOM® according to Bettina Egger and Jörg Merz
For professionals to get to know each other - further training and relaxation in dreamlike surroundings
painting-on-Crete
Metaphors and brain-friendly images allow new, more appropriate or more helpful inner images to guide feelings and actions so that new possibilities can arise in life.
We will work practically in that each participant will work on a self-chosen issue (symptom, wish, relationship clarification, dream, decision) with LOM, and will have the opportunity to experience the working and effect of LOM® in application.
If you like the way it works, you have the opportunity to learn LOM® in a training course - on Crete or at the MIHK in Münster / Westphalia.
The training is aimed at art and psychotherapists who want to initiate and accompany change processes through painting.
LOM® comes into play precisely where thinking, talking and expressing do not help sufficiently.

The method SOLUTION-ORIENTED MALTHERAPY LOM®
When thinking no longer helps, we need something that can lead us to new, unexpected solutions.
Concerns can be
- Old stressful stories,
- current stressful things (including physical symptoms),
- obstructive thought patterns,
- relationship worries,
- decisions that cannot be made,
- wishes that should finally be fulfilled
- diffuse malaise,
and much more.
In connection with your concerns, we develop an image task - a metaphor (it means nothing, but can move something), or a remembered image.
The picture is then painted slowly and with great attention - with the help of criteria that support an optimal effect. Painting creates contact with the picture, which leads to further steps.
The painting tasks are also suitable for those who are not used to painting
