Summary

Soul Yoga, Relaxation, Mindfulness – a little time-out just for you! We need to take good care of ourselves time and again, treating ourselves to a little time-out to recharge our strength and energy for the challenges of everyday life. Break free from the cycle of stress, build up your energy reserves, and strengthen your immune system with revitalizing, dynamic, and relaxing breathing and yoga techniques. Through yoga, relaxation, mindfulness exercises, and meditation, we guide the restless mind toward calm and build mental and inner strength. The mind-nervous system finds greater peace; you relax and reawaken your strength, vitality, and greater serenity for your daily life.

Our daily lives have become loud and fast-paced. Reclaim your peace and slowness. During these days, listen inward with Chitra and delight in your inner calm. Connect with yourself through loving self-care, enjoy finding peace and slowing down—all of this can have a deeply regenerative and restorative effect. Chitra loves to make music; sounds and mantras will accompany you throughout these days.

This retreat is certified with the course ID: KU-ST-ES64BT
A subsidy from statutory health insurance (GKV) and financial assistance ranging from 75€ to 100% of the retreat fee may be available.
You will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the retreat, provided the seminar leader is certified.
If this is an important requirement for you, please feel free to check with us in advance.

An investment in your health and greater well-being.

Accommodation

In 2015, the new guesthouse at Steinfeld Abbey opened its doors. The former boarding school was transformed into 64 rooms meeting high four-star standards. Only the floor plan and the stairwell serve as reminders that students once lived there. The double and single rooms, ranging from 25 m² to 30 m², and the two junior suites, each 48 m², exude monastic simplicity combined with contemporary design and comfort.

They feature solid oak floorboards, natural stone in the bathrooms, and natural materials for fabrics, upholstery, and bedding. The comfortable box-spring beds are generously sized at 2.10 m in length. Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, minibars, and telescopic reading lamps are standard. Some of the double rooms are also equipped with a sofa bed. In addition, all rooms are barrier-free, and three accessible rooms have been fitted with panoramic windows. A glass elevator connects the three floors of the building. The rooms are adorned with artwork from the Steinfelder Academy.

Guests continue to enjoy the monastic-style, simple rooms in the monastery’s Baroque wing. The cozy single and double rooms are functionally equipped with a shower/toilet or feature a shared bathroom. In the double rooms, the beds are mostly separate. Inviting lounges are available for guests, specifically designed for groups or families. Here you can spend the afternoon or evening hours in a relaxed atmosphere.
