Most retreats are certified as compact prevention courses and can be subsidized by statutory health insurance and supplementary insurance at between 75% and 100%. Please write to us for further information. Strengthen your inner peace and balance. Yoga, relaxation, mindfulness—a little time out for yourself! We need to take good care of ourselves and treat ourselves to a little time out every now and then to recharge our batteries and gather new energy for the challenges of everyday life. Escape the spiral of stress, build up your energy resources, and strengthen your immune system with revitalizing, dynamic, and relaxing breathing and yoga techniques such as Yin Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and gentle Vinyasa Yoga. Complemented by mindfulness exercises and mindfulness techniques from the MBSR method and meditation, we guide the restless mind into calmness and build mental and inner strength. The mind-nervous system becomes more relaxed, allowing you to unwind and reactivate your strength, building vitality and more serenity for your everyday life.

We have reserved a number of rooms at Steinfeld Monastery. When making your reservation, please always state that you are part of our group.

Catering

In the morning, we are treated to a hearty breakfast. A wholesome lunch and dinner are also provided. A salad bar is available, as well as a wide selection of fish/vegetarian/vegan alternatives. Full board is provided for our group, but is not included in the seminar price. Food intolerances can be taken into account (allergies). Please specify when making your reservation.

- 10:00 Energizing yoga, breathing exercises, relaxation, closing session - 12:15 Lunch - Time for a walk, journey home All of this is optional and not compulsory; everything is allowed, but nothing is mandatory. If your body needs more rest, then you can follow this impulse and take some time out. One afternoon is free.

Room keys will be handed out from around 2:00 p.m., the group will meet at 6:00 p.m. for dinner, and 2–3 tables will be reserved for our group in the dining room. The seminar officially begins at 8:00 p.m. If you will not be able to arrive until after 6:30 p.m., please notify the monastery so that your room key can be left for you. The seminar ends on the day of departure after lunch, around 1:30 p.m. If you wish to extend your stay, please make a reservation in good time. Bed linen and towels are provided on site. Feel free to bring your own yoga equipment and blanket—whatever you need for your practice. If you don't have anything with you for transportation reasons or because you forgot, you can rent equipment at the monastery for a small fee. Please let the monastery know as soon as possible so that it can be set up for you in the seminar room.

Arrival

Kloster Steinfeld is also easily accessible by public transport. Arriving by car From Cologne/Bonn/Ruhr area: Take the A1 motorway to the Nettersheim exit (AS 113), then follow the signs for "Kloster Steinfeld."
From Aachen or Trier/Südeifel: Take the B 258 to the roundabout at the village of Krekel. From there, follow the signs for "Kloster Steinfeld." Arriving by train Take the Cologne-Gerolstein/Trier regional train line to Urft (1.5 km to Steinfeld) or Kall (7 km to Steinfeld). From there, continue by taxi bus to Steinfeld (use with VRS train ticket at no extra cost, registration 1 hour before departure by calling 0 18 06 15 15 15).

A wonderful weekend - everything organized without a hitch, very attentive yoga teacher Britta, a friendly group and, last but not least, the perfectly fitting quiet atmosphere in the picturesque Steinfeld monastery. I would recommend a retreat like this to anyone who wants to do something for themselves in great company and is open to perhaps meeting new like-minded people.
