Stone carving in the Necker Valley (Switzerland)

In this weekly workshop, you will have the opportunity to create a "waist direct". This is a three-dimensional object, a sculpture, which is created without a template, without a model and without pressure. The stone guides you. You engage in a creative process and find a form that is right for you. You enter into a dialog with the stone and acquire basic craftsmanship skills.
Drawing and sculptural exercises will help you to train your artistic imagination. Advanced students have the opportunity to work on their own projects. A well-equipped sculpture studio and an outdoor work area are available. Stones can be purchased here. (steatite or alabaster)
This is an all-inclusive offer with 5 nights' accommodation and meals.

Our newly built wooden house, the "Chesa Clavazzin", invites you to be creative, but also offers recreational value. It is situated in a quiet and natural environment. All rooms have wooden floors and are stylishly furnished. All rooms are lovingly furnished, are sunny and have mountain views. A shared, modern bathroom with shower is available on the same floor. Free parking spaces.

We pay attention to a healthy, balanced and vitamin-rich diet. We do not use ready-made products. Gluten-free and lactose-free cuisine possible.

Working hours 9.00 -12.00, 14.00 to 17.00, with breaks. You can work independently until 20.00. Earlier or later arrival and departure is possible on request.

Good train connections to Brunnadern from Zurich and St. Gallen. Guests can be picked up on request.
