Summary
In this week-long workshop, you’ll have the opportunity to create a “taille directe.” This is a three-dimensional object—a sculpture—created without a template, model, or pressure. The stone guides you. In the process, you’ll immerse yourself in a creative process and discover a form that feels right to you. You enter into a dialogue with the stone and acquire basic craftsmanship skills.
Drawing and sculpting exercises help you train your artistic imagination. Advanced participants have the opportunity to work on their own projects. A well-equipped sculpture studio and an outdoor workspace are available. Stones can be purchased here (soapstone or alabaster).
This is a package deal including 5 nights’ accommodation and meals.

Working hours: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., with breaks. Independent work is possible until 8:00 p.m. Earlier or later arrival and departure are possible upon request.
Arrival
There are good train connections to Brunnadern from Zurich and St. Gallen. Guests can be picked up upon request.
Free parking is available for motor vehicles.
Cancellation policy
If you cancel up to 10 days before arrival, you will receive a 50% refund of the booking price.If you cancel up to 7 days before arrival, you will receive a 30% refund of the booking price.
After this, the booking is non-refundable.
