3-6-9 Liver cleansing according to Anthony William
Nohra, Germany
$2,884 / 11 Days
This 3-day workshop focuses on direct engagement with the material stone (alabaster). Under the guidance of the internationally active sculptor Norbert Jäger, we will develop free forms - organic, geometric or figurative. We work without a fixed template, whereby the creative process itself becomes a source of inspiration and often produces surprising results. After an introduction to materials and tools, Norbert Jäger teaches basic techniques for working stone: from rough carving to fine polishing. This results in individual sculptures with a clear form and their own expressiveness. The workshop is suitable for both beginners and advanced students. Tools will be provided. The material (marble or alabaster) is paid directly to the artist depending on the weight.
What you can expect:
- Introduction to artistic work with stone

- Techniques from rough removal to polishing
